Este é um artigo de Revisão Sistemática cujo objetivo foi descrever a dor e o sofrimento dos parentes enlutados de vítimas da contaminação pela COVID-19. Os dados foram coletados durante o mês de maio de 2020 em 4 bases de dados (Science Direct, PubMed, MEDLINE e SciELO), a partir de PRISMA. Inicialmente, foram achados cerca de 989 estudos que, depois de exclusão por estarem duplicados (18), procedeu-se à leitura dos títulos e dos resumos num total de 971 artigos, cujos 78 atenderam aos critérios de inclusão e foram lidos na íntegra; destes, foram excluídos ainda 75 artigos sendo 72 tinham temas incompatíveis e 3 estudos com resultados incongruentes, restando 3, que foram usados para análise final. Os resultados deste estudo nos levam a concluir que os parentes enlutados pela COVID-19 enfrentam momentos difíceis porque, além de perderem o seu ente querido, não conseguem ultrapassar a angústia, por não poderem assistir o seu parente, e muito menos despedir-se e prestar-lhe as últimas cerimônias fúnebres. Sugere-se a promoção de serviços sociais e de atendimento psicológico aos parentes enlutados, como forma de prevenir casos de luto complicado e transtornos mentais.
Este é um artigo de revisão narrativa da literatura, o qual tem por objetivo avaliar os impactos da pandemia da Covid-19 na saúde mental de estudantes universitários. A busca de dados ocorreu durante o mês de março de 2021, em 3 bases (Science Direct, BVS e PubMed). Foram encontrados um total de 755 artigos usando os descritores “Impact and Covid-19 and Mental Health and University student”, dos quais, depois do processo de inclusão e exclusão, sobraram 11 estudos, que foram explorados na íntegra para análise final, sob a perspectiva qualitativa de análise de conteúdo de Saldaña (2013). Os resultados deste estudo nos conduzem a concluir que a pandemia da Covid-19 afeta grandemente a saúde mental dos estudantes universitários. Desde que a doença foi considerada uma pandemia mundial, as atividades acadêmicas nas universidades foram encerradas (aulas, exames de qualificação de pós-graduação, defesas e outras) para contenção do vírus. Os riscos e impactos à saúde mental neste período incluem o medo de contaminação pelo vírus, a incerteza sobre o fim da pandemia e o retorno das aulas, medidas de distanciamento social prolongado, ansiedade e outros desconfortos psicológicos agravados pela falta de serviços de apoio psicológico. Sugere-se, assim, a implementação de serviços de apoio psicológico (sendo a modalidade virtual mais eficaz neste momento da pandemia) dentro das universidades, para a promoção do bem estar e da saúde mental da população universitária.
Este é um artigo de Revisão Sistemática, com o objetivo de analisar o índice de mulheres vítimas de feminicídio no período da pandemia da COVID-19. A busca de dados ocorreu durante o mês de junho de 2020, em 5 bases de dados (LILACS, SciElo, Science Direct, MEDLINE e PsycInfo) por meio de PRISMA. Foram achados, inicialmente, cerca de 951 artigos, dos quais 9 foram usados para a análise final. Concluiu-se que o índice de feminicídio aumentou consideravelmente durante esse período em relação aos meses anteriores, devido ao isolamento social. Este fator impossibilita que as vítimas consigam sair de casa e a nova rotina dentro de casa coabitando com o agressor vulnerabiliza sua vida. Sugere-se, assim, que se promova políticas de divulgação de leis e princípios dos direitos humanos e de violência contra mulheres, sensibilizando as vítimas e pessoas próximas a denunciar os agressores.
Este é um estudo de revisão integrativa da literatura cujo obetivo foi avaliar os impactos psicológicos da pandemia da Covid-19 na comunidade universitária e perspectivar medidas de enfrentamento no pós-pandemia. A busca dos estudos ocorreu durante o mês de outubro de 2021 em quatro bases (Science Direct, PubMed, BVS e PsycInfo) usando os seguintes descritores: “Mental health AND University OR College AND Post-pandemic”, todos consultados no dicionário de descritores na área da saúde MeSH da base de dados PubMed e Thesaurus, da PsycINFO. Na busca inicial, foram achados cerca de 600 artigos que depois do processo de inclusão e exclusão, sobraram sete estudos, adicionados com outros cinco, achados a partir da busca manual, somando 12 artigos que foram explorados na íntegra para análise final, sob a perspectiva qualitativa de análise de conteúdo. Percebemos que a pandemia da Covid-19 afetou imensamente a saúde mental da comunidade universitária. Os comportamentos de riscos à saúde mental (medo de contaminação pelo vírus, a incerteza sobre o fim da pandemia e o retorno das aulas presenciais, medidas de distanciamento social prolongado, ansiedade e outros desconfortos psicológicos) foram notáveis entre estudantes, professores e toda comunidade acadêmica, agravados pela falta de serviços de apoio psicossocial. As universidades são desafiadas a encontrar mecanismos de promoção de serviços de apoio psicossocial da comunidade sendo prioritária no período após a pandemia.
Resumo O presente artigo, com o tema o consumo de drogas pelos adolescentes nas escolas moçambicanas: estratégias de intervenção psicossocial com alunos das escolas da cidade de Nampula, visa analisar as implicações do consumo de álcool e outras drogas pelos alunos no recinto escolar e propor estratégias de mitigação sobre o consumo das drogas nas escolas. O estudo parte duma experiência profissional do autor que durante as atividades de estágios e práticas pedagógicas com estudantes de Psicologia Educacional na Universidade Pedagógica de Moçambique, Delegação de Nampula, em algumas escolas daquela cidade, pôde identificar que, em algumas aulas, os alunos estavam sob efeito de drogas. Outrossim, a motivação pelo estudo se sustenta pelas frequentes notícias e atenção do Governo pelo fenômeno em algumas escolas do país. Estrategicamente, o estudo levanta desafios para desencorajar e até estancar a situação.
