En esta investigación se analizan los patrones interactivos que surgen en el seno de los pequeños grupos de estudiantes, durante la resolución colaborativa de una serie de tareas destinadas al aprendizaje de conceptos científicos. El estudio se ha llevado a cabo con estudiantes de secundaria (15-16 años). Se ha adoptado una perspectiva teórica sociocultural y una metodología cualitativa. Dos de los tipos de interacción identificados, la colaboración y el intercambio de ideas discrepantes, se han mostrado muy potentes respecto al aprendizaje que promueven, aunque los conflictos deben resolverse mediante guía o colaboración. Este potencial se ha interpretado en términos de la intersubjetividad alcanzada en los pequeños grupos. El factor clave reside en la preocupación o compromiso social de los componentes para establecer una base común sobre la que construir el conocimiento científico. También se ha profundizado, gracias a la teoría de los estados de expectativa, en las diferencias entre grupos homogéneos y heterogéneos. Por último, se sugieren una serie de medidas para resolver los problemas de estatus y, en definitiva, de funcionamiento y aprendizaje que se observan en algunos de los pequeños grupos. Este artículo busca caracterizar la producción y puesta en valor de la otredad étnico/racial en el marco del multiculturalismo neoliberal en Chile, a partir de un trabajo teórico en torno a los conceptos de otredad, representación, ambivalencia y autenticidad. Desde esta clave de lectura y a través de metodologías cualitativas, analizaremos tres ejemplos concretos enmarcados en investigaciones en curso: las etnoempresas, el trabajo doméstico y los cuerpos-alegóricos de la tradición. El principal resultado del análisis es que las demandas de autenticidad precibidas por los sujetos marcados como Otros en Chile develan una exigencia de actuar correctamente un papel, que ¾aunque estereotipado¾ puede o no ser reapropiado por los Otros. Nuestra propuesta concluye enunciando una tesis: las demandas de autenticidad constituirían una configuración contemporánea del racismo en Chile.
Resumen: En este estudio hemos pretendido profundizar en las diferentes teorías que sirven de base a los programas preventivos de drogas para analizar las diferentes variables que permiten comprender por qué unas personas consumen drogas y otras no. Se han estudiado los factores que facilitan el consumo, y el no consumo, para descubrir estrategias preventivas adecuadas que faciliten la disminución de la ingesta y evitar que ésta se produzca. También hace referencia a las características psicosociales de la adolescencia, etapa especialmente difícil y que se convierte en un momento de riesgo importante para las personas. El marco de referencia de estas orientaciones preventivas es la educación para la salud. Resumen: La asignatura de Historia de Trabajo Social es enfocada para su estudio como un proceso progresivo de etapas que van dando paso de manera cronológica a la etapa posterior. Desde el punto de vista metodológico se fundamenta en el aprendizaje teórico-práctico. Una constante a lo largo de la historia ha sido la manera diferente en que se ha dado respuesta a las carencias de las personas, que debe ser conocida y analizada formando parte del contexto de cada época. Partiendo de la forma de respuesta a las necesidades sociales, como obligación de las familias, en las sociedades primitivas, pasando por los inicios de la ayuda organizada, para avanzar hacia la acción benéfico asistencial, hasta el surgimiento de la política social como responsabilidad del Estado y el nacimiento del Trabajo Social como profesión, se va analizando la situación socio económica y política de cada periodo de la historia, haciendo referencia a las diferentes figuras que han impulsado esta nueva profesión
