O presente trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar discussões sobre as contribuições da Educação Emocional para a Gestão Educacional e consequentemente para a promoção da inclusão social, a partir da experiência de gestão em um dos polos do Programa Universidade para Todos, entre 2014 e 2015 na cidade de Salvador, Bahia. O programa é de responsabilidade do Governo do Estado da Bahia em parceria com as Universidades Estaduais, com vistas a contribuir para um maior acesso de estudantes de escolas públicas em instituições de ensino superior. O cenário contemporâneo tem demandado a discussão do desenvolvimento de competências emocionais no contexto educacional, principalmente, no âmbito da Gestão Educacional para a promoção da inclusão social. Portanto, reconhece-se necessidade de empreender discussões sobre as redes e tessituras do processo de Gestão Educacional e a sua relação com a educação emocional. Diante disso, a relevância desse trabalho está na sua abrangente preocupação, não tão somente educacional como também social. Para tanto, teceu-se diálogos com teóricos como Salovey e Mayer (1990), Santos (2000), Goleman (2001), Steiner (2001). A partir da experiência de gestão no programa foi possível concluir que o mesmo possibilita a inclusão social, mediante o processo de fortalecimento de políticas públicas de inclusão social, e que aspectos de âmbito emocional contribuem com esse processo, em meio à relação dialógica estabelecida entre a gestão e os educandos.
