Existieron condiciones sociales, culturales, económicas y políticas que confluyeron para el ingreso de las mujeres a las universidades; así como acciones de valentía que mostraron algunas de las primeras estudiantes de educación superior en México. Específicamente en la Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí (UASLP), estos fueron importantes antecedentes del trabajo actual en materia de equidad de género en esta institución. El análisis que aquí se realiza favorece la construcción del conocimiento sobre la limitada exploración que se ha hecho respecto de las contribuciones que las estudiantes han tenido en la historia de los sistemas de educación superior y en las relaciones de género establecidas por su presencia en la matrícula universitaria.
El objetivo de este artículo es analizar la manera en que las relaciones de las jóvenes madres solteras con sus redes de apoyo participan en la configuración de su identidad materna universitaria. Realizamos entrevistas en profundidad con 14 docentes y personal administrativo, específicamente de la Facultad de Ciencias Químicas de la Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí (UASLP), México. Y elaboramos los relatos de vida de 8 jóvenes madres solteras, que asisten a alguna de las carreras del nivel licenciatura en la Facultad. Se mantienen la familia de origen y la universidad como elementos fundamentales para la conformación de la identidad materna universitaria. Entre los acuerdos de correspondencia hacia su red de apoyo, estas mujeres ejercen una maternidad múltiple.
El objetivo de este artículo es analizar las representaciones sociales de los y las estudiantes universitarios en torno al hostigamiento sexual de los docentes masculinos a través de miradas lascivas. Se realizaron cuatro grupos focales con estudiantes de las licenciaturas en Derecho y Psicología de la Escuela Superior de Actopan de la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo. La muestra poblacional es de 28 mujeres y 20 hombres. La metodología de grupos focales no permite obtener en detalle la información de cada participante. Los estudiantes de ambos sexos manifiestan indignación y rechazo por este tipo de hostigamiento sexual; sin embargo, no lo expresan en términos de derechos humanos. Los resultados de esta investigación pueden aportar elementos para la elaboración del protocolo contra la violencia de género en la universidad. Las evidencias muestran que es indispensable desarrollar una vinculación más precisa entre la definición legal de miradas lascivas y los términos que al respecto utilizan los protocolos universitarios.
El objetivo de este artículo es analizar el proceso de vinculación-desvinculación del apoyo social que reciben algunas de las estudiantes universitarias que experimentan violencia de pareja. En los meses de septiembre y octubre del año 2017 se llevaron a cabo cuatro grupos focales de mujeres estudiantes de las licenciaturas en Derecho y Psicología en la Escuela Superior de Actopan, de la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo (uaeh), México. En la violencia de pareja que experimentan las estudiantes universitarias se involucran sus amigas como red de apoyo; sin embargo, el apoyo se fractura debido a que las víctimas no abandonan la relación de pareja, y por las amenazas de violencia que reciben las amigas por parte del agresor. Este trabajo contribuye al conocimiento sobre las subjetividades de las personas que apoyan a las jóvenes que presentan violencia de pareja.
