Desde o período de atuação dos Jesuítas até os dias atuais, a música tem se mostrado presente nos mais diversos aspectos da vida social do Brasil, seja na educação, na religião ou entretenimento. Diante disso, esta pesquisa documental visa compreender a função social da educação musical desde o Brasil Império (1847), até a homologação da versão final da BNCC (2018). Foram coletados 26 documentos oficiais disponíveis em repositórios governamentais. A metodologia foi baseada nos pressupostos da análise documental, complementados por procedimentos da biblioteconomia e aplicados ao Software ATLAS.ti. O resultado dessa análise permitiu caracterizar cinco períodos com categorias temáticas distintas. O primeiro período (1847-1930), cuja formação apresentou um caráter Instrumental/Artístico; o segundo período (1931-1960), com uma formação Patriótica/ Disciplinar; o terceiro período (1961-1971), apresentou indícios de uma educação musical Humana/Social; o período da ditadura militar (1971-1995), foi transitório com a promoção do professor polivalente; já o quinto período (1997-2018, e atual), apresenta fortes características de uma formação Humana/Social. Verifica-se que a intenção com uma Formação Humana/Social, em especial na BNCC, é de aproximar o educando da sua realidade e fazer com que a sua atuação seja cidadã. Além disso, se mostra necessário, a discussão desses documentos oficiais por toda a comunidade escolar, pois muitos deles não inferem interpretações claras e objetivas.
O violão é o instrumento musical mais difundido no Brasil. Considerando os diversos avanços das tecnologias de informação ecomunicação nos últimos anos, neste trabalho é feita uma pesquisa inicial com o intuito de entender como essas tecnologiassão utilizadas pelos professores de violão. Os objetivos específicos deste estudo são: Levantar e caracterizar as ferramentastecnológicas que os participantes utilizam direta ou indiretamente para o estudo/ensino e investigar as motivações que os levama utilizar tais ferramentas. Informações relevantes foram obtidas com base nos dados coletados, entre elas que: tecnologiasdiversas estão sendo utilizadas por professores de violão; utiliza-se amplamente tecnologias não específicas para violão;não existem ferramentas que possibilitem uma melhor aproximação professor/aluno e principalmente, que existe a demandapor um software específico que concentre soluções para as mais diversas necessidades de aprendizagem. Conclui-se que éimprescindível ampla pesquisa futura envolvendo tecnologia e ensino da música produzindo além de produtos, conhecimentoacessível a todos.
Este diálogo é um excerto de uma pesquisa em desenvolvimento sobre tecnologias educacionais para o ensino e aprendizagem de música. O interesse em aproximar as duas teorias surgiu do referencial teórico usado no desenvolvimento do projeto de mestrado do autor (Roger Schank) e do referencial teórico proposto para uma matéria da grade curricular do Mestrado em Educação da PUC-Paraná (Edgar Morin). Tem como objetivo criar um diálogo entre o Learning by doing, de Roger Schank, com os princípios da Complexidade de Edgar Morin, indicando quais são os pontos semelhantes nas duas teorias. Além disso, buscou-se compreender como essas teorias contemporâneas tratam a respeito do conhecimento e da forma como o sujeito do conhecimento é visto
