In the whole earth, people increased dramatically from generation to generation which had created a large scale of broken environment so that people are facing more various types of garbage. Most of garbages are not useful and as a matter of fact, they are used to be neglected. Furthermore, many efforts have been conducted to change it by many types of recycled methods. Here, a simple technique is proposed with and without using fires to transform the useless natural or man-made rubbish things to be a superfiber as well as thin film with multitasking applications in human daily life. Since most of earth environment is covered by oceans, here the authors show how the ocean related garbage such as the crab skins, broken coral reefs and beach stones were changed to be superfiber and a multitasking device prototype.
The value of the gravitational acceleration of the earth above the earth’s surface depends on the position of the latitude and longitude of the earth’s surface, in other words, because the shape of the earth’s surface is not round like a ball. The magnitude of gravity is not the same everywhere on the surface of the earth. The purpose of this study is to analyze the value of the earth’s gravitational acceleration in a laboratory using a current balance with a graphical method. Fluctuations in the value of the magnetic field strength (B) and the value of the electric current strength (i) on the current balance cause the value of laboratory gravitational acceleration (glab) to vary in the transfer of electric charge (q) according to coil type. The magnitude of the earth’s gravitational acceleration value obtained in a laboratory with a current balance for each type of coil is as follows: SF-37 glab-nr=9.89 m/s2, SF-38 glab-nr=9.90 m/s2, SF-39 glab-nr=9.76 m/s2, SF-40 glab-nr=9.95 m/s2, SF-41 glab-nr=9.75 m/s2 dan SF-42 glab-nr=9.93 m/s2. The results obtained indicate that the value of the earth’s gravitational acceleration in a laboratory close to the literature value is the value of the glab-nr in the SF-37 coil type of 9.89 m/s2.
Water is a unique property of the Earth and very important to every living organism. The existence of groundwater is only 0.61% of the total water on earth (oceans, rivers, lakes, polar ice, rain). The purpose of this research is to determine the location and depth of the aquifer by using 2D and 3D modeling. The method of research is resistivity method using Schlumberger configuration, where data is collected according to the survey design with coordinate ranging from X:436100, Y:9226880 to X:436680, Y:9227640, and covered by 7 lines. The modeling results indicate that the present groundwater aquifer potential has low resistivity distribution in this area. The spreading of unconfined aquifer is estimated on the north side to the east of Simpang 5 area. This can be seen from syncing the data of line one to six. But the data on line seven is of different patterns with other lines. The existence of groundwater basin is not easily identified on this line. This may be due to the location of Line Seven being located in the area of Ciputra Mall, Horison Hotel and Tlogorejo Hospital with higher consumption of water, thus the decrease in groundwater condition. This may cause conditions such as land subsidence. The results of interpretation based on the modeling show the possibility of an unconfined aquifer with groundwater level at 10-15 m depth with varied end of border groundwater depth.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
