Nesse trabalho foi utilizada uma máquina fotográfica digital, com a função multi-burst (fotos tiradas em sequência) para analisar o movimento de queda livre e com os dados obtidos calcular o valor da aceleração da gravidade local. Para avaliar o experimento, foi também calculado um valor teórico para aceleração da gravidade local. Comparado com o obtido experimentalmente, foi possível observar um desvio pequeno, o que mostrou que a máquina fotográfica digital pode ser uma boa ferramenta pedagógica no ensino de física. Palavras-chave: queda livre, aceleração da gravidade, máquina fotográfica digital.In this work we used a digital camera, with multi-burst function (photos taken in sequence) to analise the free fall motion and with the data obtained calculate the value of the local acceleration of gravity. To evaluate the experiment, was also calculated a theoretical value for the local acceleration of gravity. By comparing with that obtained experimentally, it was possible to observe a small deviation. That showed that the digital camera can be a good tool to aid pedagogical in the teaching of physics.
