Pelvic floor dysfunctions (PFDs) include urinary incontinence (UI), fecal incontinence (FI), pelvic organ prolapse (POP) and some sexual dysfunctions. 1 One of the main consequences of PFDs in women is the alteration of their quality of life, having an impact on women's social, psychological, working, domestic, physical, and sexual lives. 2 PFDs are highly prevalent among women, with 2.6%-28.7% of them suffering from UI, 20%-50% from POP, and 6.9% from BI, becoming a public health problem. 2,3 Given the high prevalence of PFDs and their impact on women's quality of life, several studies have analyzed different ways to reach an early identification and treatment. 4 Among the latter, there are
