Este traballo analiza o efecto do capital psicolóxico dos enxeñeiros en tres resultadosindividuais de gran relevancia para as organizacións: a satisfacción no posto de traballo, ocompromiso afectivo coa organización e o rendemento no posto. Tomando como base osdatos obtidos de 100 enxeñeiros de telecomunicacións, o traballo suscita un sistema deecuacións estruturais, para cuxa análise, utilízase o programa informático EQS 6.1. Osresultados indican que o capital psicolóxico dos enxeñeiros de telecomunicacións exerceun efecto positivo sobre os tres resultados individuais considerados no estudo. Osresultados obtidos presentan importantes implicacións para os directivos tanto no ámbitoda selección como no da formación e desenvolvemento dos recursos humanos. Enprimeiro lugar, os directivos deben tratar de procurar individuos con elevado capitalpsicolóxico nos procesos de selección. Por outra banda, dado que o capital psicolóxico noné un trazo de personalidade, e polo tanto, pode ser desenvolvido, a organización deberíaimplantar actividades formativas para o desenvolvemento do mesmo.
Este trabajo realiza una revisión de la investigación en el ámbito de la reflotación y del declive empresarial desde mediados de los años setenta del siglo pasado hasta la actualidad. Tomando como base los trabajos de Pearce y Robbins (1993) y de Trahms, Ndofor y Sirmon (2013), se presentan los principales hallazgos realizados por la investigación previa junto con las carencias fundamentales de este campo de investigación. Además, se muestran también los avances sucedidos con posterioridad a la revisión de Trahms et al. (2013), junto con la perspectiva futura de la investigación en el área.
