Bhakti-yoga, o yoga da devoção, é o elemento central da tradição Vaiṣṇava Gauḍīya do Hinduísmo, possuindo como ritual mais presente e conhecido a prática do canto congregacional de mantras, o sankīrtana. Neste trabalho, trazemos conceitos como samādhi, mokṣa e prema-bhakti sob a ótica da tradição estudada, apresentando a prática do sankīrtana como aquilo que exprime a mística vaiṣṇava e torna possível a vivência real dos conceitos supracitados na vida do devoto. Tendo como meta uma consciência conectada à Divindade e um estado de amor puro por Deus (prema), demonstramos neste artigo, a partir da fenomenologia e análise bibliográfica, o sankīrtana como singularidade e essência do caminho de bhakti-yoga.
Muitas histórias em quadrinhos estadunidenses são ricas em elementos religiosos, e a maior editora deste segmento, Marvel Comics, possui diversos personagens que flertam ou mesmo imergem neste campo. Destes, destaca-se o Surfista Prateado, personagem da dupla Stan Lee e Jack Kirby, que, desde 1966, discorre sobre a crueldade humana e sua incapacidade de viver em paz e harmonia. Neste artigo, apresento um resumo da trajetória deste icônico personagem nos quadrinhos, sobretudo de sua série original, de Stan Lee e John Buscema, suas indagações filosóficas e elementos religiosos, sobretudo do cristianismo e hinduísmo, presentes nas páginas.
Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura, mestre basilar do Vaiṣṇavismo, uma das quatro principais tradições do Hinduísmo, é um dos raros mestres que foi capaz de resgatar, reformar e propagar um determinado pensamento teológico, apresentando uma obra singular e extensa. Neste artigo, apresento, sobretudo, as proposições de Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura para o diálogo inter-religioso, publicadas na Índia ainda no século XIX. A pesquisa foi de natureza teórica e a ferramenta utilizada foi bibliográfica, tendo como base três livros fundamentais da obra de Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura. O diálogo inter-religioso é uma realidade atual bastante estudada na Ciência da Religião, mas são poucos os exemplos de estudos no Brasil sobre membros de tradições não-cristãs que propuseram ou propõem este diálogo. Assim, vê-se ao final o pioneirismo e visão do autor estudado e sua importância para o campo de pesquisas em Pluralismo e Diálogo inter-religioso.
