Alkali metal dihydrogen-antimonides [M-(L) x SbH 2 ], short: alkali metal antimonides (M = Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs; 1: L = pmdta; 2: L = crown-ether), were prepared from stibine and n-Butyllithium, M(hmds) (hmds = hexamethyldisilazane) or MOtBu, respectively. We developed a generally applicable synthesis route for these compounds and the obtained compounds were examined on their stability depending on the alkali metal and stabilizing additives used, whereby the use of appropriate crown-ethers allowed their isolation and characterization at room temperature. Moreover, the 1,4-dioxane adduct [Na(dioxane) x SbH 2 ] was the appropriate starting compound for the synthesis of the first primary silylstibane (Me 3 Si) 3 SiSbH 2 (3) which was characterized by NMR and IR spectroscopy. Reaction of 3 with (Dipp 2 NacNac)Ga (Dipp 2 NacNac = HC{C-(Me)N(Dipp)} 2 ; Dipp = 2,6-iPr 2 C 6 H 3 ) resulted in the formation of (Dipp 2 NacNac)GaH(SbHSi(SiMe 3 ) 3 ) (4) which was furthermore characterized by single crystal xray diffraction.
We herein report the synthesis,structures,coordination ability,and mechanism of formation of silicon analogs of crowne thers.A no ligomerization of 2 D 2 (I)( 2 D n , = (Me 4 Si 2 O) n )w as achieved by the reaction with GaI 3 and MI x (M = Li, Na, Mg, Ca, Sr). In these reactions the metal cations serve as template and the anions (I À /[GaI 4 ] À )a re required as nucleophiles.I nc ase of MI x = LiI, [Li( 2 D 3 )GaI 4 ]( 1)i s formed. In case of MI x = NaI, MgI 2 ,C aI 2 ,a nd SrI 2 the compounds [M( 2 D 4 )(GaI 4 ) x ]( M = Mg 2+ (3), Ca 2+ (4), Sr 2+(5)a re obtained. Furthermore the proton complex [H( 2 D 3 )]-[Ga 2 I 7 ]( 6)w as isolated and structurally characterized. All complexes were characterized by means of multinuclear NMR spectroscopy, DOSY experiments and, except for compound 3, also by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Quantum chemical calculations were carried out to compare the affinity of M + to 2 D n and other ligands and to shed light on the formation of larger rings from smaller ones.
One- and two-dimensional networks of alkali metal ions and silicon-based ligands were synthesised and structurally characterised.
Herein, the characterization and reactivity of the metalated arsinidenyl (SIDipp)AsK (1 a) is described. This compound was obtained via deprotonation of the saturated “parent arsinidene” (SIDipp)AsH (1) with the strong base benzyl potassium and appears as pyrophoric, insoluble, red solid. The ability of crown ethers to improve the solubility of metal compounds through complex formation has been used to obtain crystals of (SIDipp)AsK. Thus, the crown ether complex [K(18‐crown‐6)(SIDipp)As] (1 b) was characterized as the first of its kind by single crystal x‐ray diffraction. Furthermore, (SIDipp)AsK was treated with di‐tert‐butylchloropnictogens (tBu2ECl, E=P, As, Sb, Bi) to give the interpnictogen compounds of the type (SIDipp)AsEtBu2 (2–5) with low valent arsenic substituents.

Des Weiteren wurde die protonierte Verbindung [H( 2 D 3 )][Ga 2 I 7 ]( 6)i soliert und charakterisiert. Alle Komplexe wurden mittels Multikern-NMR-Spektroskopie,D OSY-Experimenten und (außer für 3)per Einkristallstrukturanalyse charakterisiert. Quantenchemische Rechnungen wurden durchgeführt, um die Koordinationsfähigkeiten dieser Liganden näher zu beleuchten und den Mechanismus der Oligomerisierungsreaktionen zu untersuchen. EinleitungSeit ihrer Entdeckung Mitte der 60er Jahre haben Kronenether sowie verwandte Verbindungen wie Kryptanden, Spheranden und Podanden eine bemerkenswerte Entwicklung durchgemacht. Aufgrund ihrer hervorragenden Koordinationsfähigkeiten wurden sie zahlreiche Male in Übersichtsartikeln beschrieben, erçffneten eine Vielzahl an Anwendungsgebieten und schließlich wurden C. J. Pedersen, J. M. Lehn und D. J. Cram im Jahre 1987 mit dem Nobelpreis fürihre Forschung im Rahmen der supramolekularen Chemie geehrt. [1][2][3][4][5] Den Silicium-Analogen der Kronenether hingegen wurde bisher deutlich weniger Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt, obwohl es im Laufe der Jahre ein großes Interesse an "anorganischen" Makrozyklen gegeben hat. [6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15] Darüber hinaus befassten sich viele Arbeiten der letzten Jahrzehnte mit der Nachbildung von organischen Verbindungsklassen basierend auf dem Element Silicium;d arunter Verbindungen mit Silicium-Silicium-Mehrfachbindungen, [16][17][18][19][20] Silanone, [21][22][23] Silasäureester, [24,25] Silacarboxylate, [26] Silasäure-/Silaamide [27,28] oder auch Radikalverbindungen [29] (Auswahl siehe Schema 1). Derartige Verbindungen sind sehr empfindlich, und ein geschickter Umgang mit diesen Verbindungen ist erforderlich, da sich die Reaktivitätg egenüber den organischen Verbindungen mitunter deutlich unterscheidet. Das Problem zur Herstellung siliciumbasierter Kronenether findet sich hingegen darin begründet, dass die Si-O-Bindung einen speziellen und von der C-O-Bindung verschiedenen Bindungscharakter aufweist.Die Si-O-Bindung wurde kontrovers diskutiert, jedoch werden siliciumgebundene Sauerstoffatome einheitlich als schwach koordinierend charakterisiert, sodass Siloxanliganden zunehmend unattraktiv fürd ie Koordinationschemie Schema 1.
