The study mainly concentrates on identifying the need to form the skills and abilities of educational and research activity of future teachers as the foundation of the Gnostic criterion to evaluate their readiness for innovation. Through the research, the subsequent tasks were established: the investigation of the literature on the research issue, determination of the leading indicators of the gnostic criterion of the future teacher's readiness for innovation, construction of a questionnaire for teachers to recognize their readiness level for innovation, performing a survey, examining the outcomes. To address the issue, we applied particular methods as analysis, questioning, mathematical investigation of data. The author put forward the following hypothesis: if the future teachers do not improve the skills and capabilities of educational and research activity, then the Gnostic criterion for evaluating the teachers' readiness for innovative activities would demonstrate a low level. The study's conclusions revealed a low level of teachers' mastery in the skills and experiences of research and educational activity. As a result, a low level of teachers' readiness for innovation from the Gnostic criterion, which confirmed the theory put forward.

RUМотив изгнания в кубино-американской литературе Шкилёв Р. Е., Дулалаева И. Ю.Аннотация. Статья посвящена рассмотрению особенностей репрезентации мотива изгнания в кубино-американской литературе. Эксплицируются философские аспекты изгнания, устанавливается взаимосвязь между чувством замещения у пожилых людей и географическим изгнанием. Показана специфика переживания изгнания пожилыми персонажами К. Гарсиа, А. Менендес и С. Родригес Миланес. Цель исследования состоит в определении специфики переживания изгнания пожилыми кубино-американцами. Научная новизна работы заключается в том, что впервые детально анализируется феномен изгнания в кубино-американской литературе. Полученные результаты показали, что в этнических диаспорах латиноамериканского происхождения пожилые женщины и мужчины по-разному переживают изгнание.
The topicality of the problem investigated is caused by necessity of studying the syntactic system of languages which is in line with main trends in modern linguistics. The aim of the research is to study the nature of syntactic relations expressed by word order in sentences in speech of authors and characters in the work of the 20th century American writer J.D. Salinger ‘The Catcher in the Rye’ and the work of the 21st century American writer L. Groff ‘Fates and Furies’. The following objectives of the study contribute to the achievement of the aim: to consider the rules of word order in a sentence in English; to study the works devoted to the study of syntax of a sentence; to analyze the syntactic structure of sentences in authors’ and characters’ speech in the novels «The Catcher in the Rye» by J.D. Salinger and «Fates and Furies» by L. Groff.
The purpose of the study is to develop a model for the formation of a culture of educational and research activities among junior students of the university in the process of their teaching English. The article concretizes the concept of "model", examines various types of models and methodological approaches to their construction. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the development of a logical-meaningful model of the formation of the culture of educational and research activities among junior students of the university in the process of teaching English. As a result, it was concluded that the most important property of the developed model is its integrity: the model gives a generalized description of the object of research, isolates the most significant sides for the study, makes it possible to establish a functional relationship between the parameters under study, to increase students' motivation for learning, the development of creative and creative abilities, as well as active research activities.
The article focuses on the peculiarities of rendering the meaning of compound terms in the translation process with the help of word combinations without shift of meaning in the semantic structure. The research is based on the examples from English and Russian legal terminology. Taking into account the fact that legal terms form a part of literary language the classification is based on principles accepted and used in Phraseology. The examples analyzed in this paper reveal the difference between English and Russian compound terms in the lexical and grammatical structure. The author arrives at a conclusion that the semantic shift in legal terminology has an anthropocentric orientation. The dependence of the nature of the semantic shift on certain features of national cultures is shown. The results of the investigation provide for the material for the study of the features of the corresponding segment of linguistic worldview.
