La inestabilidad de voltaje en un sistema eléctrico de subtransmisión de la Provincia de Manabí se puede presentar de diferentes maneras como: aumento de la carga, operabilidad del máximo rendimiento de la máquina, puntos de generación muy alejadas, potencias reactivas inductivas muy elevados, entre otros. Todos esto genera problemas en la subtransmisión de potencia eléctrica en los voltajes y ángulos de los nodos del sistema, mediante la obtención de las curvas PV se identificó que la barra de Chone de 69 kV es la más crítica y la QV la barra de Manta de 69 kV en condiciones normales de la red por medio del software de DigSilent. Con la carga aumentada de 0.1 Mvar se harán las proyecciones de demanda utilizando la matriz jacobiana reducida para obtener los factores de participación, en donde la más crítica de los ramales es la subestación de Quevedo que tiene 0.8986 y la generación de Daule-Peripa que llega a tener un valor de 1, en donde todas estas operaciones se la realizaron en Matlab. La necesidad de este análisis de estudio es de gran importancia, ya que con esos valores de proyección se crearán una inestabilidad de voltaje y llegaría a colapsar la red.
