ResumoObjetiva-se investigar as formas de recuperação e as características estruturais dos blogs científicos brasileiros, assim como a configuração das redes de links formadas por eles. Com base nos referenciais teóricos que conceituam e caracterizam blogs, busca-se compreender seu papel no âmbito da comunicação da ciência. A metodologia adotada se caracteriza por estudo exploratório que recupera dados concernentes aos aglomerados constituídos a partir dos links arrolados nos blogrolls dos blogs do Anel de Blogs Científicos e a partir de categorias determinadas a priori. O estudo indica que as redes se mostram pouco coesas e que os pesquisadores formalmente ligados às instituições de ensino e de pesquisa são a parcela menos significativa do referido fenômeno.

INTRODUÇÃONo atual contexto de evolução da internet, consolidam-se iniciativas que relativizam as formas existentes de interação entre produtores e consumidores de informação, caracterizada por meio de nova configuração conceituada por Tim O'Reilly (2006) como web 2. 0, e que se alicerça na comunicação mediada por computador. De acordo com tal configuração, as dinâmicas de publicação, edição e compartilhamento de conteúdos são reflexos do que Anderson (2006) convenciona chamar de "cauda longa": uma nova cultura produtiva centrada em
Analisa as formas de busca e uso de informações de mestres de RPG. A partir do conceito de comportamento informacional, discute o quanto o conceito de imaginário se consagra fundamental na composição das dinâmicas do jogo. Problematiza essas dinâmicas considerando os conceitos de necessidade busca e compartilhamento de informações. A metodologia de cunho qualitativo se estruturou a partir da Técnica de Análise de Conteúdo (BARDIN, 2016) de acordo com o critério semântico dos textos explicitados. As análises permitem afirmar que o processo de criação ocorre fundamentado na ausência de padrões, tendo por referência a conjunção de diferentes aspectos em relação ao do uso de fontes formais e informais associadas à internet. A busca de informações está relacionada a aspectos instrumentais e lógicos do jogo e as motivações elencadas têm como referência a socialização e a colaboração entre os participantes do jogo.
Propõe melhorias relacionadas aos requisitos mais valorizados pelos usuários da Biblioteca Central de uma Universidade Federal identificados a partir de um estudo de usuários. Objetiva identificar o perfil dos usuários que frequentam essa Biblioteca e, também, os requisitos que esses mais valorizam em unidades de informação. Cinco etapas compõem o método de trabalho. São elas: caracterização do cenário; elaboração e aplicação do questionário; identificação do perfil dos usuários; identificação dos requisitos valorizados pelos usuários; e proposição de melhorias à Biblioteca. A metodologia utilizada para identificação dos requisitos é a proposta por Ribeiro et al. (2001). Os resultados indicam que a maioria dos usuários não utiliza o acervo disponível e, também, que as mesas de estudo correspondem ao principal motivo para ida dos usuários à Biblioteca. Os resultados indicam, ainda, que “Infraestrutura” é a categoria mais valorizada pelos usuários da Biblioteca em estudo. Além destes aspectos, os resultados apontam que os requisitos mais valorizados pelos usuários desta Biblioteca são “disponibilizar salas fechadas para trabalhos em grupo”, “disponibilizar computadores para pesquisa” e “disponibilizar rede wi-fi”. As propostas de melhoria se relacionam a esses requisitos. Aponta que o atendimento das propostas listadas pode contribuir para a melhoria da percepção dos usuários com relação aos serviços oferecidos pela Biblioteca.
