Apesar de todos os benefícios documentados sobre o Planejamento e Controle, esta função tem sido realizada de maneira informal em muitas empresas, cujas decisões acabam sendo tomadas com base na experiência dos funcionários. Dessa forma, este artigo teve por objetivo analisar o planejamento e controle de atividades de um escritório de projetos de arquitetura e engenharia que utiliza a metodologia BIM à luz do Last Planner. Para tal, foram realizadas 6 entrevistas com gestores e projetistas buscando entender como ocorre o planejamento e o controle de curto, médio e longo prazo, bem como visualizar possíveis ineficiências. Verificou-se diversas ineficiências no planejamento e controle das atividades, principalmente em relação a comunicação, tanto interna como externa. Por fim, proposições de melhorias foram sugeridas aos gestores visando melhor a eficiência do processo. (Produto de disciplina, finalizado)
O Building Information Modeling (BIM) é um processo que integra e gerencia todas as informações ao longo do ciclo de vida da construção, desde a etapa de projetos até a etapa de desconstrução. Através de uma Revisão Sistemática da Literatura, o presente estudo busca responder como o BIM pode colaborar com a sustentabilidade ao longo do ciclo de vida da edificação e quais suas principais tendências aplicação. Diversos assuntos foram estudados, entre eles: eficiência energética, gestão de resíduos, projeto de fachadas, etc. Como resultado, notou-se através dos artigos analisados grande potencial de aplicação do BIM relacionado à sustentabilidade em todo o ciclo de vida da edificação.
No setor da construção civil, existem diversos relatos de ineficiência de diversas atividades, as quais ocasionam perdas consideráveis em produtividade. Como tentativa de aumentar a produtividade das atividades, a Internet das Coisas (IoT) tem se tornado uma forte alidada ao possibilitar captar informações complexas com precisão, comumente difíceis de serem obtidas sem o auxílio da Tecnologia da Informação. A partir dessa abordagem, este trabalho propõe uma pesquisa bibliométrica de artigos relacionando IoT e Construção Civil, verificando os impactos na produtividade. Os artigos foram pesquisados entre os anos de 2015 e 2019 em diversos periódicos e congressos de grande relevância no meio científico, como a revista “Automation in Construction” e o jornal “Journal of Information Technology in Construction” (ITcon). Por meio da pesquisa, foi possível compreender e organizar as informações coletadas, por exemplo, quais os ambientes mais estudados, quais os assuntos mais discutidos, quais localidades os estudos são realizados com maior frequência, etc. Como resultado, foram identificados e analisados 61 artigos, o que indica o grande potencial de aplicação da IoT no setor da construção civil.
Sabe-se que o Building Information Modeling (BIM) pode oferecer diversos benefícios à aprendizagem quanto a conteúdos de engenharia a discentes. Apesar de tais benefícios, devido à existência de lacunas na literatura quanto à integração do BIM ao ensino, o presente trabalho busca desenvolver uma ferramenta de planejamento do ensino-aprendizagem de conteúdos de engenharia auxiliada pelo BIM, com o intuito de facilitar o planejamento de docentes quanto à apresentação de conteúdos de engenharia aos alunos, como também para facilitar o aprendizado e desenvolvimento de suas competências e habilidades. Para seu desenvolvimento, trabalhou-se com alunos de graduação em Engenharia Civil, os quais estão cursando ou cursaram a disciplina de Gerenciamento da Construção Civil I da Universidade Federal do Ceará entre os anos de 2016 e 2020. Apesar de ter sido escolhida uma área específica do curso de graduação em Engenharia Civil, espera-se que a ferramenta também possa ser aplicada em outras áreas do curso, não se extinguindo também a possibilidade de ser aplicada em outros cursos de graduação de engenharia ou de arquitetura, se realizadas adaptações necessárias à ferramenta. Como resultado, a ferramenta é capaz de contribuir para o planejamento eficiente de disciplinas de Gerenciamento da Construção Civil, proporcionando aos discentes melhorias na aprendizagem quanto aos conteúdos apresentados, bem como facilitando o desenvolvimento de competências e habilidades importantes a sua formação. Apesar de tais benefícios, devido à existência de lacunas na literatura quanto à integração do BIM ao ensino de conteúdos de engenharia, buscou-se desenvolver através do método Design Science Research uma ferramenta de planejamento do ensino-aprendizagem de conteúdos de engenharia auxiliada pelo BIM. Como contribuições, obteve-se um modelo capaz de facilitar a aprendizagem de conteúdos de Gerenciamento da Construção Civil e o desenvolvimento de competências e habilidades em discentes.
