Se analiza la discursividad de la época, relacionándola con aspectos que atañen a problemáticas sobre el control social y la estigmatización. Esto con el fin de entender por qué se asociaba a los barrios populares con marginalidad y conflictividad social. Para lograr este objetivo, se realizan dos estudios de caso, en dos asentamientos urbanos surgidos durante esta etapa. AbstractThis article seeks to understand how in different urban and social settlements, of the city of San José, cataloged under the concept of "barrios del Sur", were carried out processes of social control and stigmatization during the period spanning 1950 to 1980. The speech of the period, relating to problematic aspects pertaining to social control and stigmatization is analyzed. This in order to understand why the neighborhoods were associated with marginality and social unrest. El artículo examina el rol de la lengua dentro del proceso de construcción de identidad, explicando y dilucidando la presencia identitaria de esta en la tradición literaria argentina. Para ello se enfoca en el análisis del artículo “¿Existe la novela argentina?”, del escritor argentino Ricardo Pilgia, publicado en el año de 1990, y en la obra Vivir entre lenguas de la escritora argentina Silvia Molloy del año 2016. Se determina cómo en la lengua literaria se establecen factores lingüísticos desequilibrantes que brindan nuevas perspectivas para repensar la conformación de la identidad cultural de un estado-nación y la de un sujeto narrativo, destacando e interpretando las teorías clásicas de Klaus Zimmerman, Gilles Deleuze y Félix Guattari, así como también las más recientes de Kirsten Süselbeck y Ulrike Mühlschlegel. El trabajo se divide en tres apartados. En el primero se abordan una serie de antecedentes históricos que funcionan de base para la comprensión de ciertos elementos y procesos que engloban a la literatura argentina. En el segundo se estudia la correlación de la lengua extranjera con la identidad literaria de un estado-nación, analizando el caso del escritor polaco Witold Gombrowicz, a partir de las propuestas de Ricardo Piglia. Finalmente, en el último apartado se examinan las propuestas identitarias del texto de Silvia Molloy.
Durante los primeros decenios del siglo XX las tendencias dominantes de la narrativa hispanoamericana se vincularon con un marco de representación que pretendía reflejar la realidad de su tiempo. Uno tendiente a representar las desigualdades generadas por el desarrollo de los estados nacionales y del capitalismo. No obstante, en ese mismo periodo, surgió, a raíz de la asimilación de la vanguardia histórica, una narrativa que dio lugar a nuevas formas de abordar la realidad literaria. En ese contexto, el escritor ecuatoriano Pablo Palacio publicó la novela Vida del Ahorcado (Novela Subjetiva), en la que asumió una crítica al proyecto de modernización política ecuatoriana de finales del siglo XIX y de las tres primeras décadas del XX, a partir de una visión narrativa fragmentaria sobre la contradicción del orden simbólico de la modernización. En ese sentido, esta investigación literaria propone analizar la forma en que se construyó dicha crítica, mediante la examinación los principales ejes estilísticos vanguardistas presentes en la novela. La investigación se divide en cuatro apartados. En el primero, se expone un estado de la cuestión con el objetivo de conocer los principales antecedentes del estudio crítico de la obra palaciana. En el segundo, se desarrolla una contextualización histórica de la realidad socioeconómica y política del proyecto de modernización. En el tercero, se examinan las principales tendencias vanguardistas que la novela contiene. Finalmente, en el cuarto apartado, se realiza el análisis discursivo propuesto. Esta investigación, se desarrolló como trabajo final del curso Crisis del realismo y fundadores de la nueva narrativa, en el Máster Universitario de Literatura Hispanoamérica, impartido en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid durante el periodo 2018-2019.
ResumenEl siguiente artículo analiza el proceso histórico del acceso a la vivienda en el Área Metropolitana de San José que realizaron los sectores medios en el periodo de 1950-2011. Se parte de la hipótesis de que tanto el Estado como la iniciativa privada (inmobiliarias) incidieron en la formación de segregación socio espacial al proyectar diversos planes habitacionales. El estudio inicia desde el decenio de 1950 debido a que ocurren cambios a nivel urbano y estatal como los siguientes: la creación de un ente que regula los procesos de urbanización (Instituto Nacional de Vivienda y Urbanismo), la formación e intervención de la tugurización y el surgimiento de espacios residenciales para el asentamiento de clases medias. El análisis finaliza en el año de 2011 debido a que a partir de la década del 2000, surgieron paulatinamente las llamadas "comunidades cerradas", las cuales reflejan otra lógica de fragmentación socio espacial. Metodológicamente se plantearon dos fases; una referida a un análisis descriptivo realizado a fuentes primarias; y la segunda trabajada desde un enfoque de historia oral, mediante entrevistas semi estructuradas realizadas a dueños de inmobiliarias, a ingenieros civiles y arquitectos que laboraron en el periodo.
