Objetivo: analisar a importância da atuação da fisioterapia na reabilitação precoce do paciente COVID 19 na unidade de terapia intensa, mostrando, a relevância das técnicas de mobilização precoce bem como outros protocolos em pacientes acometidos pela COVID-19 internados em UTI. Método: A busca de artigos foi realizada no período de 20/10/2021 até 30/11/2021, nas seguintes bases de dados: Pubmed, MEDLINE, LILACS, SciELO e PEDro. Todas as buscas foram restritas aos idiomas inglês e português. Resultados: Mobilização e reabilitação ativas realizadas na UTI. Exercícios ativos na cama, prática de mobilidade na cama, progressão da mobilidade da posição sentada para a posição em pé e deambulação, terapia de inclinação da mesa ou elevação para uma cadeira, cicloergometria, NMES, entre outros. Conclusão: Diante do contexto de pandemia aliada à alta demanda de pacientes e o evidente risco de contaminação pelo Covid-19, entende-se a importância do o manejo ventilatório e alta precoce da UTI, para que seja possível atender toda a demanda de pacientes que necessitassem de cuidados intensivos, por isso, profissionais como o fisioterapeuta, são essenciais na conduta a ser aplicada aos pacientes.
