RESUMO A norma de Desempenho de Edificações ABSTRACTThe Building Performance Standard (ABNT NBR 15575:2013), reference for the performance specification and construction evaluation, introduced concepts, usually not valued in most projects, such as thermal acoustic and comfort and the fire safety, concerned about the impact of the potential cost brought. This research raised the constructive components of structural walls, which reach the performance in the thermal and acoustic parameters and their relation of applicability together with the cost benefit, for buildings of low to medium standard, located in the Brazilian Bioclimatic Zone 2, with reference to the market values of the city Santa Maria, RS and the typologies most used in the region. The work dealt with the characterization of the collected elements, their evaluation according to the procedures of Code NBR 15575:2013 by simplified method and precision method performed in the laboratory and the cost-benefit ratio. In the wall composition studied, it was verified that only the ceramic blocks of 14x19x29 cm and 19x19x29 cm, both with external and internal mortar of 3.0 cm, met the thermal performance and most of the acoustic tests. The most economical option is the w...
