Suitable teaching materials are teaching materials that can facilitate all the needs of students and are contextual. The availability of integrated science materials that were contextual, especially in wetlands, was still insufficient. Therefore, this research was carried out to develop a local wisdom-based integrated science teaching material on wetlands. This study aimed to describe the feasibility of teaching materials developed. This research wss the research development by using a modified four-D-models design (define, design, and develop). The subjects of this study were junior high school students in Banjarmasin. The instruments used in this study are based on the validity sheet of teaching materials, questionnaires of student responses and test instruments of learning results. Based on the development and trial results, it was concluded that the integrated science-based teaching materials based on local wisdom in wetlands on energy material in living systems, temperatures and heat and environmental pollution were feasible. The results of other studies obtained were integrated science-based teaching materials based on local wisdom in wetlands that were applied using a guided inquiry learning model, capable of improving students' science process skills in good categories. The results of this study provided an idea that the teaching materials prepared by containing contextual learning elements in the form of local wisdom wetlands could be used as references in the science learning process.Keywords: Development; Local Wisdom; Teaching Material; Wetlands Bahan ajar yang baik adalah bahan ajar yang mampu memfasilitasi segala kebutuhan peserta didik (student need) dan bersifat kontekstual. Kenyataan yang ditemui adalah ketersediaan bahan ajar IPA terpadu yang bersifat kontekstual terutama di lahan basah masih belum mencukupi. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian dengan menyusun sebuah bahan ajar IPA terpadu berbasis kearifan lokal di lahan basah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan rancangan four-D-models yang dimodifikasi (define, design, and develop). Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik SMP yang ada di Banjarmasin. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar validitas bahan ajar, angket respon peserta didik, dan instrumen tes hasil belajar. Berdasarkan pada hasil pengembangan dan uji coba, maka diperoleh simpulan bahwa bahan ajar IPA terpadu berbasis kearifan lokal di lahan basah pada materi energi pada sistem kehidupan, suhu dan kalor, serta pencemaran lingkungan layak digunakan. Hasil penelitian lainnya yang diperoleh adalah bahan ajar IPA terpadu berbasis kearifan lokal lahan basah yang diterapkan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing mampu meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik dengan kategori baik. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan gambaran bahwa bahan ajar yang disusun dengan memuat unsur kontekstual learning berupa kearifan lokal lahan basah dapat dijadikan salah satu referensi dalam proses pembelajaran IPA di tingkat SMP.Kata Kunci: Pengembangan; Kearifan Lokal; Bahan ajar; Lahan Basah
Abstract-This research aims to describe the ability of Physics Teachers of Senior High Schools in Sleman in planning and applying lesson and material by using the models that have been provided in 2013 curriculum. This research was survey design and it was conducted by using descriptive quantitative approach. The result of this research showed that the ability of teachers in planning and applying or implementing the lesson and the material is on good category.
