Zakat is a crucial instrument in Indonesian economic growth. It is considered vital because it can mobilize assets owned for economic growth by empowering certain groups in society, but Indonesian potential cannot be appropriately maximized. Empirically intention is a determining factor changes in muzakki behavior, influenced by muzakki's knowledge and attitude. The purpose of this study is to explore and examine how much impact the zakat literacy among Indonesian Muslims has on the intention to pay zakat. This study also analyzes the intention to pay zakat when viewed from the level of factors in the theory of planned behavior. This research involves structural equation modeling (SEM) approach, which is done through AMOS software, with a sample of 280 muzakki. The results of this study stated the hypothesis that was tested as a whole was accepted, so that it can be concluded the higher level of attitude, subjective norms, and literacy about zakat owned by muzakki it will have implications for the higher intention of muzakki in his compliance zakat paying
Purpose: This study generally aims to comprehensively examine the effect of mobile banking service quality on creating customer loyalty in Islamic banking. In particular, this research uses the E-S-Qual instrument to verify service quality in mobile banking and uses one mediation variable, namely e-customer satisfaction. Methodology: This study amounted to 273 Islamic banking customers. The total participants are divided into several categories such as; gender, occupation, domicile, and Islamic bank used. The data obtained were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach. This study also uses a second-order perspective (reflective-reflective) SEM on the E-S-Qual variable (efficiency, fulfillment, system availability, and privacy), then the approach used refers to the repeated indicators. Findings: The higher mobile banking service quality has implications for customer loyalty, both attitude and behavior. It happens when the customer is satisfied with the quality of the system displayed. This satisfaction can be achieved if the dimensions of quality that are characteristic of the system can be presented by Islamic banking. Originality: This study underscores the dimensions of efficiency and system availability as keys to mobile banking service quality. Efficiency refers to how the ease, accessibility, and speed provided by the system can facilitate transactions and other functions. Furthermore, system availability refers to how the platforms function properly in relation to technical constraints that may arise, as well as attachment to functions that strengthen processes in the business of Islamic banking customers.
Purpose This study aims to explore the Islamic capital market adoption model, based on the construct of Islamic financial literacy (IFL), the theory of planned behavior (TPB) and past behavior (PBR) in the context of a Muslim-majority country (Indonesia). Design/methodology/approach To test the conceptual model, this study used data from 251 respondents with a diverse spectrum, and the partial least squares structural equation modeling technique was used to test the forecasting of the model. Findings Overall, IFL and TPB dimensions (i.e. attitudes and perceived behavioral control) have a significant positive effect, either directly or indirectly, for investment intentions in the Islamic capital market. Also, the findings recommend the construct of PBR as an important predictor of investment intentions in Islamic capital markets. Practical implications The study can be beneficially used for Islamic financial institutions to participate with the Indonesian government in affirming IFL to broader society, not only Islamic education institutions. It is related to the significance of IFL, where it can be utilized as an indicator that education on the concept and values of Islamic finance can positively establish attitudes in society and stakeholders. Originality/value This study is an effort to strengthen IFL as a key construct using a good measurement scale, in the context of the Islamic capital market investment. In addition, this study also provides the necessary impetus to analyze the relationship between the dimensions of TPB and PBR, either directly or indirectly.
The development of investment in the Islamic capital market, especially the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) as a percentage experienced a significant development, it is because the Islamic index uses Islamic principles and procedures. The phenomenon of the trade war between the United States and China has an impact on macro variable fluctuations, which can empirically influence the growth of the sharia index. For this reason, this study aims to analyze the impact of change due to the trade war sentiment. Macroeconomic variables used in this study are the USD / IDR exchange rate, the CNY / IDR exchange rate, inflation, Crude oil WTI and ICP Crude oil. This study uses vector auto regression analysis (VAR) technique. Stationarity test using the Augmented Dickey-Fuller test (ADF Test) and the Philips-Perron Test. The analysis shows that there is an influence between changes in exchange rates and changes in crude oil prices on the return of the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) in the range of research data periods used
