This article presents the experimental study results of the process of rotational friction holes boring using a cup cutter surfaced by STOODY M7-G material. As a result of experimental studies, the following quality indicators were achieved: surface roughness within Ra=10÷1,25 micrometer; surface hardness within HB 212-248. Using a cup cutter surfaced by STOODY M7-G material in case of rotational friction boring of large-diameter holes for large-sized parts can improve processing performance in comparison with cutting tools equipped with hard metal plates and provided the required surface roughness. Preliminary calculations showed that the manufacture of cup cutters from non-instrumental materials reduces the cost of the cutting tool by 5-7 times and the cost of the operation by 1.5-2 times.
The studies of the state of gears production show that there is a problem of ensuring the accuracy and quality of teeth tooling in fi nishing operations. To solve this problem, there has been developed a method of fi nishing the teeth of gears and a design of a special reeling tool for its implementation. A feature of the proposed method is its implementation on universal lathes. This article presents the results of an experimental study of the proposed method of tooling and studying the chip formation process. The research methodology is based on the scientifi c principles of engineering technology, the theory of chip formation, the theory of metal cutting and gear tooling. The metallographic method of research has also been used and the experiment has been planned. The results of experimental studies confi rm the possibility of applying the proposed method for fi nishing side surfaces of the cylindrical gear teeth, at this there has been achieved roughness R a = 1.25 ÷ 0.32 μm. The results of studying chip formation show that the tooling of the "shaver-squeegee" ensures high-quality crushing of chips, it somewhat weakens the structure of the chips and improves the working conditions of the tool and improves the quality of the fi nishing tooling of gear teeth.
This article deals with analysis of the production state of pipeline valves in the Republic of Kazakhstan (RK). As a result of the study, it was found that to ensure high reliability and complete environmental safety of the communications system of pipeline transport, it is necessary to improve the quality of manufacturing pipeline valves and other elements of the pipeline transport system by using new promising developments in the field of mechanical processing, assembly, welding, etc. Актуальность исследования заключается в вопросах производства крупногабаритной арматуры для трубопроводов. Исследованы вопросы проектирования и классификации трубопроводов, трубопроводной арматуры,в частности клапанов. Установлено, что наиболее сложной и трудоемкой в изготовлении среди трубопроводной арматуры является конструкция задвижек. Исследована технология изготовления крупногабаритных задвижек в условиях Усть-Каменогорского арматурного завода и выявлены вопросы обеспечения качества и точности изготовления коробчатого узла. Результаты экспериментальных исследований процесса фрезерования конической поверхности показали возможность использования фрикционной конической фрезы для обработки отверстий с криволинейными поверхностями полукорпуса крупногабаритной шиберной задвижки.
The benefits and necessity of distance learning are undeniable, and when the whole world switches to remote access due to the pandemic, education is no exception. The data is collected during the analysis of the disciplines comprehensibility among EKTU students in the Republic of Kazakhstan; a quantitative research approach and a content analysis method are used. In total, the performance of approximately 500 students in technical disciplines is analyzed. The study is conducted at EKTU in RK, which may limit the generalizability of the outcomes. The results of the paper provide significant and useful information to teachers, developers, and students regarding the teaching of principal subjects during distance learning at universities. Based on the experience and readiness of students, the obtained outcomes determine which learning system should be applied when working out an on-line learning system to improve the efficiency of learning and teaching. The research expands the existing knowledge of distance teaching of special disciplines of technical specialties in higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and contributes to education in the context of distance learning, confirming the expanded model of acceptance of online learning technologies from the point of view of teachers of our university and considering differences in culture, learning style, and physical environment compared to other countries.
