A new harmonic data distribution window was developed, through the collection of data from the distribution network, in a medium voltage substation of level 13.8 kV. The objective of this article is to obtain a study on the energy for the consumer units (UCs), for a minimum period of 7 consecutive days according to the PRODIST, electrical system. The harmonics are not as ha rmful for firms as for power distribution company. A technique developed of this article is a linear regression technique, which is a construction of parametric models and a mathematical analysis. This is an article published and applied in the practice of case studies of harmonic analysis of electric energy distribution systems through linear regression analysis, obtaining great results in the study, thus validating an applied technique in harmonic analysis of electric power distribution systems.
This paper presents a case study of a disease that has been attacking many workers around the world, Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI). Objective of this article is to show the benefits of RSI / DORT treatment through physiotherapy and stretching procedures, in improving pain, symptoms and quality of life of patients. The methodology adopted in this article was based on a case study with the application of physiotherapeutic treatment. The case study was carried out with a female patient, 34 years old, female, white, assistant of kitchen of a university restaurant for five years, with work-related musculoskeletal disorder (WRMD), diagnosed with cervicobrachial on the right associated with low back pain, Pain in the right upper limb and right trapezius muscle region for about a month, with worsening of symptoms for six months. It will not be mentioned in which restaurant the study was conducted for ethical reasons. The cook's activity presents creativity, possibilities and limitations, since it is articulated with the culinary art and this professional must meet technical criteria, operational and administrative requirements. Other points to highlight are: attending each working day, great diversity of demands and preferences for a stable clientele of collective feeding. The activities are exhausting, making this professional overwhelmed by practicing repetitive, frequent actions, weight lifting, and the time pressure required by the work. Although it presents the creative side in which they feel the play and the satisfaction in doing, transforming it into a pleasurable activity. The physical therapy treatment showed to be effective in combating the pain generated by the RSI / WRMD, in the improvement of the quality of the sleep and in the improvement in the functional aspect. Work-related musculoskeletal disorders, known as Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI), represent the main group of health problems among occupational diseases.
This article presents a study in process control using the second tuning method Ziegler-Nichols. The second Ziegler-Nichols tuning method determines a gain and a period called critical gain and the critical period, respectively. And through empirical testing, to achieve system stability. The chosen driver for the development of this work was the PID (Proportional -Integral -Derivative). The purpose of this article is the study of the second Ziegler-Nichols tuning method in process control, making the stable control system. The development of this work was performed by MATLAB and Simulink software. The results showed that the research is relevant because the Ziegler and Nichols optimization method is applicable for process control projects using PID controllers..
Considering recent cases of mobile device battery incidents widely reported in the news and the internet, more and more companies are looking to develop not only safer and more reliable products, but also robust and automated manufacturing processes, seeking greater reliability and efficiency. Thus, the purpose of this research is to model a mobile phone battery test automation system using the Petri Nets (PN) graph and mathematics tool to automate the dipole alignment, voltage test and internal resistance, anode and cathode battery terminal cut, visual inspection of these and battery thickness selection in a mobile phone battery production line of a company in the Industrial Pole of Manaus (PIM). The Visual Object Net ++ v2.7a software was used for PN modeling and the present research is structured in detailed description of the automatic system components, flowchart, modeling and PN analysis. Considering this as a Discrete Event System (DES), the PN showed that it is fu lly possible to model the Automatic Testing System for Mobile Phone Battery. It was also demonstrated that the PN analysis by the mark enumeration method, through the coverage tree building and accessible markings graphs that the system has good properties of Reachability, Liveness and Boundedness, being fundamental in PN. It was also possible to verify that using this tool it is possible to obtain a high level of understanding of real progress and evolution of the system through the dynamic visualization of graphs related to the DES.
Modeling, as a means of analysis of safety systems, as well as industrial processes and related purposes, meets the demand for suitable methods. The present work aims to evaluate an adherence of the concepts of modeling and Petri nets applied to the logic and interlock strategies of a Fire Fighting System (FFS). For this purpose, a real installation was used to acquire the information, which was an Oil & Gas Waterway Terminal, located in the municipality of Coari in the State of Amazonas, Brazil, which receives, stores and disposes of oil and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The analysis models and the interlocking strategies are validated with the use of the Petri nets, where are the patterns of systems to discrete events, through a method of analysis in which all the paths and states that the modeled system are simulated It can obtain, to allow from this model to study and evaluate possibilities of improvement of the system.
The Pañacocha field, located on the Northeast part of Ecuador, is part of the Block 12 from Petroamazonas EP in an ecologically sensitive area of the Amazon rainforest. Heavy oil (less than 14°API) producers Ml and M2 formations in Pañacocha field are not being fully developed due to challenges of handling fluids with viscosities that increase exponentially as their temperature decrease. This paper shows how the design, planning and installation of an inverted concentric dual completion string combined with the gravel pack technique for sand control and forced convection to minimize fluid heat transfer through the tubing, allowed to produce high viscosity fluids.
