Based on Kvisoft Flipbook in Low Grade Social Science Subjects. This study aims to: (1) develop teaching materials for elementary social studies subjects based on kvisoft flippbook and (2) determine the feasibility level of the teaching materials developed. This type of research is Research and Development by adapting the modified Borg & Gall model into five stages, namely information gathering, product planning, product development, product validation, and product evaluation. The results showed that (1) the software for teaching materials for low-grade social studies courses based on the Kvisoft Flipbook application had been compiled based on input from expert validators, and (2) the teaching materials for low-grade social studies courses developed were considered feasible to use. used in learning in terms of material and design aspects. The expert assessments are as follows: the results of the material expert validation for the content aspect are very well qualified (88.6%), the material expert validation results for the presentation aspect are very well qualified (87.9%), the material expert validation results for the language aspect are very good (85, 4%) and the average result of the validation of the design experts in very good qualifications (86.1%).Keywords: Learning Media, Digital Books, Social Science Subjects
This research is a development research (R&D) which aims to design concepts, form and describe characteristics, and test the effectiveness of teaching materials for the Pado-pado melody on the Saluang Pauh musical instrument at SMKN 7 Padang. Based on these findings, researchers have designed Saluang Pauh connected teaching materials to improve the theoretical understanding and practical ability of the students of SMKN 7 Padang in playing the Pado-pado melody. These teaching materials are equipped with videos to make it easier for students to appreciate the Saluang Pauh object being studied. Based on the application of the Saluang Pauh teaching material (pado-pado rhythm) the results improve students' experience in identifying characters and playing pado-pado melodies with correct fingering and blowing techniques. Students have understood several contextual matters (history of musical instruments, form of presentation, and organology) of Saluang Pauh musical instruments. Based on these findings, it can be said that the teaching materials designed by the author have been tested for their effectiveness in the learning process at SMKN 7 Padang.
This study aims to describe how the Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) are implemented through social studies education courses in primary school teacher education at Medan State University. The research method used is using qualitative research, where in qualitative research the research instrument is the researcher himself. Data collection techniques used include interviews, observation, documentation and learning outcomes. This research was carried out in teacher education at the Medan State University elementary school for elementary school teacher education students in the fifth semester. In this study, the validity test of triangulation data was used. The results of the study show that the implementation of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in Social Studies education courses in Medan State University elementary school teacher education has gone well. It can be seen that the learning outcomes obtained by students indicate that they are still not optimal in developing higher-order thinking skills, students need guidance and development in higher-order thinking skills. It can be seen that there were 6 students who got the highest points on the analyzing aspect with the "distinguish" component, 1 student who got the highest points on the evaluating aspect with the "check and criticize" component, and no student who got the highest points on the evaluation aspect. innovate in the "formulate" component. This activity is carried out by identifying problems at the beginning of learning, evaluating learning by selecting the best solution that will be determined by each group and solving problems in learning by bringing up an innovation to perfect the solution to become a better solution.
The aims of this study were to: (1) develop HOTS-based SBM teaching materials to improve students' 4C skills in learning at PGSD FIP Unimed. (2). validate product eligibility; (3) validating product practicality, and (4.) validating product effectiveness. This research method is the Research & Development method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data collection techniques were obtained from questionnaires, observation sheets and tests. The data analysis used descriptive techniques and continued with the inferential statistical test through the t test. Statistically, it was concluded that there was a significant difference in students' 4C skills in conducting PLP II at SD Mitra which pointed to an increase before and after the product was used in class F student learning at PGSD FIP with a 95% confidence level. Therefore the HOTS-based MBS teaching material module that was developed is very feasible, very practical and very effective to use to improve the 4C skills of PGSD FIP Unimed students in carrying out PLP II activities in elementary school through learning at PGSD.
