This paper proposes how street light can be controlled in the presence or absence of vehicle to reduce the wastage of energy. The proposed work is accomplished by using Arduino UNO and sensors that will control the electricity based on night and object's detection. Meanwhile, a counter is set that will count the number of objects passed through the road. The beauty of the proposed work is that the wastage of unused electricity can be reduced. The aim of this project is to design a street light control system using Arduino UNO, which automatically turns on or off the street lights by detecting the movement of vehicles. The working of the project is explained here. When there is not any vehicle in front of the IR sensor module, the receiver can't get any infrared signal So the circuit remain in open loop condition and the lights are in off condition. When there is any vehicle in front of the IR sensor module, the receiver get the infrared signal. So the circuit is in close loop condition and the lights are in on condition with respect to the IR module. If the car blocks the first IR sensor, the first three LEDs are turned ON by the microcontroller. As the car moves forward and blocks the second IR sensor, the corresponding next three LEDs will be turned ON and the first LED of the previous set is turned OFF. The process continues this way for all the IR Sensors and LEDs.
This paper presents a study of E-QUESTION PAPER GENERATION SYSTEM. AsTesting is an important part for Artificial Intelligent based agents, student assessment is also an important part of teaching. In our education system this assessment is done by examination. For this reason Question paper setting has always consistently been a matter of interest. Quality of any question paper is based on various design parameters related to it such as whether the question paper assesses different problem solving skills ,whether it cover all modules or chapters from the syllabus and whether it contains various difficulty levels or not. In this paper we are proposing to develop a system that will generate a smart question paper from different sets of question papers using the Artificial Intelligence technology. The smart question paper generated through this system will be secure, fast, streamlined as well as randomized. The process developed in the system will analyze and compose the question paper using an algorithm with efficiency and result into success. The user will input the sets of question papers. Then the system will ask to provide various information for the finalized question paper that it will generate like what will be the marks for each sections, what will be the difficulty level etc. This kind of question paper will be very much helpful in the university where various sets of questions are generated by various professors and a finalized question is needed that will cover all the sets. ABTRACT Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) has become an emerging technology of wireless communication and computing. Wireless Sensor Network is a self-configured, infrastructure-less wireless network which comprises of a few to large number of spatially distributed autonomous sensor nodes and a base station. The function of the base station is to interface user and network. A sensor node combines hardware and software. The main deployment of sensor network is sensing, data processing and transmitting data. WSN has different application in enemy intrusion detection in the battlefield in the military application, medical field, atmospheric disaster, agricultural and industrial applications. In Wireless sensor network each node is a battery-operated low power device and operated in ad-hoc principle, which indicates network power is mainly dependent on rate of energy consumption. Ad-hoc networking nature of WSN allows the attacker for different types of attacks from passive eavesdropping to active attacks. As WSN requires hop by hop routing to transport the packets to the destination, any intermediate node acting maliciously can drop, modify or misguide the traffic traversing through it. Confidentiality, authenticity, integrity, data freshness and quality of service (QoS) are the most important issues for wireless sensor nodes. An attacker may collect and destroy sensitive information if the transmission is not properly encrypted. However, avoiding collision and providing cooperation among the nodes during the transmission are done by using medium access control protocols. This paper focuses on the security threats on the resource restricted design and deployment characteristics along with the requirements to design a secured WSN system. In this paper wormhole attacks, black hole attacks, Sybil attacks, hello flood attack, denial of service attacks and private attacks are investigated. In this paper different link layer attacks are also discussed. Not only does this document about the popular attacks in different layers of WSN, but also provides some remedies against these attacks.
This paper presents the design of the low cost home automation system using the IoT(Internet of Things) technology along with the feature of speech recognition. The Internet of things (IoT) is the inter-networking of physical devices, vehicles, buildings, and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and network connectivity that enable these objects to collect and exchange data. In this project IoT technology is used to control the home appliances wirelessly over the internet. The computing module used is a Raspberry pi development board. The project also aims to provide a speech control interface to the users to control the appliances. Speech recognition is provided using an online Speech-To-Text platform called wit. The home automation system listens for the user's speech and whenever a defined phrase is identified it triggers corresponding action to switch appliances on or off. With speech recognition physically challenged people can control appliances with much more ease
