Pendekatan multirepresentasi merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang menekankan beberapa sudut pandang makna dalam bentuk representasi verbal, gambar, persamaan, diagram, tabel dan grafik. Bantuan pendekatan multirepresentasi dalam pembelajaran fisika dapat meningkatkan proses dan evaluasi pembelajaran fisika. Beberapa fitur multirepresentasi dalam pembelajaran fisika memberikan dampak yang signifikan pada laur pembelajaran fisika. Secara umum tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan secara kualitatif peranan pendekatan multirepresentasi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran fisika secara komprehensif. Secara khusus kajian penelitian ini adalah pendekatan multirepresentasi dapat terintegrasi ke dalam beberapa model, media, strategi dan metode pembelajaran. Fisika serta pengaruhnya terhadap kemampuan kognitif mulai dari level rendah hingga level tinggi. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan kajian Pustaka dengan berbagai sumber berupa artikel jurnal dan beberapa literatur lainnya. Hasil review sumber referensi menunjukan bahwa pendekatan multirepresentasi dapat dintegrasikan pada beberapa model, media, strategi, metode, dan pendekatan pada pembelajaran fisika sehingga mampu meningkatkan beberapa kemampuan kognitif seperti kemampuan pemecahan masalah, argumentasi, pemahaman konsep fisika siswaKata kunci: Pendekatan Multirepresentasi; Pembelajaran Fisika; Kajian Literatur
This research can be done to assess the analogical transfer skill based on isomorphic problems. The assessment tool in this research contains momentum and impulse material questions consisting of 40 multiple-choice items. Instruments that have been validated by physics education experts, physicists, and educational practitioners. The instrument was piloted on 333 learners. This research used a response model dichotomous. The result of the research shows that there are 40 items of expert judgments that have a “good for use” category. Based on the analysis, the mean INFIT MNSQ, which is 1.00 ± 0.04, means that all items are accord the Rasch Model. The whole item represents the range of capabilities -2.0 to +2.0. Thus, this assessment instrument can be used to measure the analogical transfer skill of senior high school students, especially on the matter of momentum and impulse.
Understanding the concept of physics is the basic cognitive skill to understand, know, apply and analyze a physical phenomenon. Problems of conceptual knowledge of physics Students are minimal causing their inability to solve problems with Physics. The understanding of physical concepts can be learned in several ways, one of which is based on conceptual knowledge. Conceptual knowledge can be classified based on several sub dimensions of knowledge including knowledge of classifying, generalizing, basic or general concepts. The purpose of this research is to analyze and describe the understanding of physical concepts based on several indicators of conceptual knowledge through the Quizizz Online Game application. This research uses quantitative-qualitative mixed research methods that are interpreted together. Data retrieval techniques use test instruments and in-person interviews. The results showed that the average understanding of student concepts is in a moderate category with a concept understanding index reaching 47%. Students' concept understanding on each conceptual knowledge such as classifying, generalizing knowledge and knowledge of concepts or theories with results at a moderate level
This research is an expo-facto study which aims to analyze and test the particular teaching skills model of beginner lecturers that applies basic physics courses I. Testing models aim to provide information and knowledge about the indicators that most influence lecturers’ skills in teaching in the classroom. The population in this study were all students of the 2015 class and the 2016 class of the Physics Education Study Program of the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar with 224 people. The research sample was taken using Slovin techniques with a total of 145 students. The process of data collection was carried out by using an empirically tested questionnaire. The research data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling analysis method with Analysis of Moment Structures techniques. Through this model, it can be concluded that the skills of explaining basic physics material the most influential indicator of the teaching skills of beginner lecturers.
