Lewis acid‐catalyzed [6+1] annulation reactions of 2‐cyano‐1‐propargyl‐ and 2‐alkynyl‐1‐cyanomethyl‐indoles with Reformatsky reagent are described. 8‐Aryl, 8‐alkyl‐, 8‐hetaryl‐, 9‐aryl, and 9‐alkyl‐azepino[1,2‐a]indole amines were obtained through a 7‐endo‐mode cyclization of the β‐aminoacrylate intermediates. The antiproliferative activity of the azepino[1,2‐a]indoles analogs against the HCT‐116 cells were also examined.
In recent years, research on recommendation systems for software development has been actively conducted. The systems are mainly divided into know-how systems and know-who systems. The target of this study is education domain, and developers are university students. They are novice for software development and they leave the course after finishing it. Therefore know-how acquisition and sharing are very important. The authors developed a know-how recommendation system using the content filtering technique of which targets are stored know-how and inquiry sentences written in natural language. The results of a preliminary experiment in a project-based course of a university showed that the system could recommend appropriate pieces of knowhow for four inquiries of which although solutions of inquiries were stored in the database, developers could not find solutions and the teaching staff showed the location of the corresponding know-how.
Background/Aim: High-dose chemotherapy is frequently administered to patients with hematologic malignancies, thereby causing severe adverse drug reactions (ADRs) at a relatively high frequency. To precisely monitor ADRs, we developed a medication instruction sheet (MIS) for patients who received rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisolone (R-CHOP) combination therapy for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL). Herein, we evaluated the usefulness of the MIS for managing ADRs in patients who received R-CHOP therapy.
