In this study, the author will describe learning Arabic with a skills approach at the Burapha Witya Narathiwat Islamic school in Thailand which aims to provide innovation in a fun and skilled Arabic learning that can master four aspects of language skills including listening, speaking, reading and writing as well as motivating students to be able to learn Arabic easily so that they can practice it in their daily life. This research uses qualitative research methods, namely descriptive analysis with a case study approach, data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study state that learning Arabic with a skills approach can provide innovation and motivation in learning Arabic for students and Arabic teachers because students can play an active role directly in various kinds of learning language skills according to the level of ability possessed by each student. in their field so that students can learn Arabic with ease and fun and can master four aspects of language skills including listening, speaking, reading and writing. Thus students can practice Arabic in everyday life.
Abstract: Difficulties and errors in the pronunciation of Arabic phonology still often occur in the process of learning Arabic by non-Arab students it is due to lack of attention in teaching Arabic phonology by teachers and non-Arab students. But in previous studies, no one has researched the use of methods in the learning. Thus in this study, researchers have explored, analyzed, and described a method to give an overview of a method for learning Arabic phonology for foreign students. This research uses the Library research method in the collection of relevant data. Data is obtained from articles, books, Internet and past research by the discussion. The result is that the mimicry-memorization method has a lot to influence the results of foreign language learning and can be used as an innovation in Arabic phonology learning for foreign students, which is the most key thing to do before learning Arabic language skills. Thus the results of This research can provide innovations for teachers of Arabic with a method of mimicry-memorization in teaching Arabic phonology to foreign students so that they can pronounce the letters, vocabulary and sentences of Arabic language well and correctly. Thus, non-Arab students can communicate with Arabic in communicative, eloquent, and fluent.
This research is motivated by the low reading comprehension of Arabic which is possessed by students of Middle School 10 Sleman in understanding reading texts because of the absence of a linguistic environment and active, so it caused a lack of interest and motivation for learning in the learning process. This study aims to improve reading skills in Arabic for 7th grade students of Middle School 10 Sleman especially in understanding reading texts by using the Index Card Match strategy in learning reading skills. With this research, it is expected to be able to help teachers in the learning process of reading Arabic skills and improve students' ability to read. In its implementation, this study used a quasi-quantitative approach with the Experimental method. To find out the extent of the effectiveness of the Index Card Match strategy in learning Arabic reading skills, the formula used is the t-test. This study resulted in differences in statistical calculations in mean values in the experimental group and the control group. For the experimental group reached an average of 81.28 and the control group 76.88. The value of "t" counts 2.335 and "t" table 2.042 so that "t" counts greater than "t" table, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and there are significant differences. From the results above the researchers concluded that the use of the Index Card Match strategy in learning Arabic reading skills was effective so that it could improve reading skills in 7th grade students of Middle School 10 Sleman.
