Peshe Kuriloff suggests that the quest for good pedagogy along with the effort to employ technology as a tool to enhance learning has introduced new thinking about how we might teach more effectively (2005). This tutorial program describes an instructional design model that focuses on convergence of technologies in order to create and deliver the distance-learning experience. This tutorial will show how I have combined selected design principles discussed by Clark and Mayer in their recent book, e-Learning and the Science of Instruction (Copyright 2003, John Wiley & Sons, Inc.) with consumer electronics, information technology, and telecommunications in order to create and deliver online courses. I will attempt to show how technology, when used creatively, can enhance the distance-learning experience delivered via the Internet.
