Reporting dangerous events and accidents is a method and procedure that can be done to prevent dangerous events or accidents that recur. Bird's theory states that recurring nearmiss is mostly caused by unsafe behavior that can increase the risk of work accidents. Identification of unsafe behavior can be done with the Behavior Base Safety (BBS) approach, namely through the filling of hazard observation cards. This type of research used quantitative methods with cross sectional design. The number of samples studied was 76 workers with total sampling from workforce population. The study was conducted in July - August 2019. Data analysis in this study used the Spearman Rank test with a value of (α = 0,05). The results showed there were a relationship between attitude variables (Pvalue = 0,013) and awardin (Pvalue = 0,016. It is suggested to improve system of reward in order to increase worker motivation, make safety instructions regarding the obligation to fill a hazard reporting card, discussion forums or meetings related to the STOP Card program, design a interesting safety media communications focused on observing safe and unsafe condition in the work place. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 13 Medan, Teknik pengumpulan data memberikan soal tes komunikasi matematis siswa untuk mengumpulkan informasi dari hasil tes, yaitu siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 13 Medan. Adapun alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pemberian tes yang diberikan berupa tes kemampuan matematis sebanyak 3 soal. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: 1) Kemampuan menghubungkan benda nyata ke dalam ide-ide matematika. Pada penelitian ini peserta didik dapat menuliskan informasi yang diketahui dan ditanyakan atau tujuan dari permasalahan, 2) Kemampuan menyatakan peristiwa sehari-hari dengan simbol-simbol matematika dalam menyajikan ide-ide matematik secara tertulis. Pada penelitian ini peserta didik dapat menggunakan simbol-simbol matematika saat menuliskan informasi yang diperoleh dari soal dan saat menyelesaikan permasalahan, 3) Kemampuan menjelaskan ide, situasi sehari-hari dan relasi matematik, secara tertulis maupun dengan gambar. Pada penelitian ini peserta didik dapat menggambarkan bangun yang sesuai pada permasalahan yaitu gambar bangun ruang lingkaran, 4) Kemampuan memahami dan mengevaluasi ide-ide matematik dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan sehari-hari secara tertulis. Pada peneitian ini peserta didik dapat menuliskan konsep rumus yang digunakan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan, dapat menggunakan langkah-langkah penyelesaian dengan baik serta dapat melakukan perhitungan dengan benar. 5) Kemampuan mengkomunikasikan kesimpulan jawaban permasalahan sehari-hari sesuai dengan pertanyaan. Pada penelitian ini peserta didik dapat menuliskan simpulan hasil penyelesaian ulang sesuai dengan tujuan dari permasalahan
Jambi is one of the provinces in Indonesia that has an abundance coal potential. One of the companies that holds the Mining-Business License (IUP) for Coal mining production and operations is PT. XYZ, which is chosen to be the source of samples for this research. One of the negative impacts caused by coal mining activities is the wastewater emerge from both mining and stockpile activities. Unprocessed wastewater can pollute the environment, particularly the surface water and ground water around the mining site. Materials utilized in managing coal mine wastewater in this research are bentonite (natural and activated) and limestone from clamshells. Bentonite is expected to be able to absorb TSS, Fe, Mn and Hg values, while clamshells to increase the pH value in coal mine wastewater. This research aims to determine the ability of clamshell bentonite and limestone in processing coal mine wastewater. The samples in this research are amounted to 19 consisting of 1 control sample and 18 treatment samples. The treatments are made in 6 mass variations and 3 variations of contact time. A combination of 1 gram of material is contacted with 250 ml of coal mine wastewater. The characteristics of coal mine wastewater from PT. XYZ based on the samples taken are as follows: pH 4,40, TSS 66 mg/l, Fe 0,998 mg/l, Mn 7,340 mg/l, dan Hg 0,00076 mg/l. The results of this research show that the compilation of bentonite and limestone from clamshells is able to reduce the parameters of coal mine wastewater. The absorption efficiency of the compilation of bentonite and limestone in decreasing the parameters of coal mine wastewater has varied values with the average of: pH 68,62%, TSS 90,91%, Fe 97,60%, Mn 26,71%, and Hg 96,05%. Mass variations and contact time influence the decrease in coal mine wastewater parameters. The treatment on variations of 0.75 grams of activated clamshell bentonite and 0.25 grams of clamshell limestone with 30 minutes contact time is the treatment that produces wastewater that meets the environmental quality standards, which are pH 7,16 from 6 – 9 of environmental quality standards value, TSS 6 mg/l from 400 mg/l of environmental quality standards value, Fe < 0,02 mg/l from 7 mg/l of environmental quality standards value, and Hg < 0,00003 mg/l from 0,002 mg/l of environmental quality standards value. With good management, it is expected that the impacts caused by waste water from coal mining can be minimized in order to achieve environmentally friendly mining activities
This study aims to investigate the influence of work environment on the performance of the employees of PT Jico Agung Palembang. Data obtained from 58 respondents consisting of leaders and all employees of PT Jico Agung Palembang. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires and analysed using simple linear regression on SPSS. The results reveal that work environment has a positive and significant effect on performance. The relationship between work environment and performance is strong as indicated by the correlation coefficient of 73.5%. The determination test of 0.541 proves that the work environment affects performance by 54.1% and the remaining 45.9% is influenced by other variables outside of this study.
