Arista Tehnik Jakarta is an individual company engaged in manufacturing services for AC ducting in buildings. Arista Tehnik Jakarta in processing employee payroll data still uses the manual / conventional method, which is taking notes on bookkeeping so that errors often occur in calculating employee salaries. Calculating employee salaries can have fatal consequences if something goes wrong and it can affect the preparation of payroll reports. The manual / conventional payroll system is not able to provide adequate benefits for calculating employee salaries. With a good payroll system, every company that already has many employees is very much needed. Companies that have many employees definitely need a payroll system that can make it easier to pay salaries appropriately and efficiently. The method used in this research is by making observations, interviews, literature studies, designing information systems followed by the development of information systems and then testing. The result of this research is to produce a computerized payroll information system that provides convenience in providing payroll data information such as employee data information, job data and payroll data. In the Payroll Data Information System using UML (Unified Modeling Language), programming using the CodeIgniter framework, and MySQL for database processing. After the researcher then created a Payroll Information System, the work procedure could be easier for Arista Tehnik Jakarta.
ABSTRAK Tanah bekas tambang (overburden) merupakan tanah yang telah terdegradasiakibat kegiatan pertambangan. Tanah overburden memiliki permasalahan yangkompleks terutama pada sifat fisik. Perbaikan sifat fisik tanah dapat dilakukandengan pemberian bahan organik. Penambahan bahan organik mampu meningkatkankemampuan tanah untuk mengikat air dan hara sehingga dapat mengatasipermasalahan pada sifat fisik tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jeniskompos limbah kelapa sawit yang tebaik untuk pertubuhan lobak putih padaoverburden. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Dusun Sungai Mayam Desa SungaiMayam Kecamatan Meliau Kabupaten Sanggau Provinsi Kalimantan Barat.Penelitan ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 4perlakuan dan 6 ulangan, masing-masing ulangan terdiri dari 5 sampel tanamansehingga terdapat 120 tanaman. Perlakuan yang dimaksud adalah A= KomposTandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit (TKKS), B= Kompos Wet Decenter Solid (WDS), C=Kompos Kernel Kelapa Sawit (KKS) dan D= Kompos Pelepah Kelapa Sawit (PKS)masing- masing perlakuan diberikan sebanyak 2500 gram/polybag. Variabel yangdiamati pada peneltian ini adalah tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah daun (helai), beratsegar umbi (gram), diameter umbi (cm), panjang umbi (cm) dan berat kering bagianatas tanaman (gram). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian berbagai jeniskompos limbah kelapa sawit berpengaruh nyata pada variabel tinggi tanaman, jumlahdaun, berat segar umbi, panjang umbi dan berat kering bagian atas tanamansedangkan pada variabel diameter umbi berbeda tidak nyata. Pemberian kompos WetDecenter Solid memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap variabel pengamatan tinggitanaman, jumlah daun, panjang umbi, berat segar umbi dan berat kering bagian atastanaman.Kata Kunci : kompos limbah kelapa sawit, lobak, tanah bekas tambang (overburden)
The Covid-19 (Corona Virus Disease-19) outbreak has managed to change the patterns of social life on society, including the change regarding the way Da’wa is performed; from conventional direct Da’wa to mediated Da’wa through internet. This article aims at describing responses of the Da’is (proselytizers) in social media pertaining to the spread of the Covid-19. This article applied qualitative method to analyse Da’wa contents related to Covid-19 on social media. Data were collected through observation and documentation. Findings show that there are at least three types of responses from the Da’is; cognitive, affective, and behavioural responses. Cognitive response is manifested in the form of delivering information regarding Covid-19 from the general and medical perspective such as promoting frequent hand-washing, maintaining good hygiene, obeying the government measurements, maintaining healthy level of gratitude and praying to God to be saved from the outbreak. Affective response is manifested in the form of promoting empathy, positive thinking, and avoiding panic. Behavioural response is manifested in the form of giving real-life example such as performing online congregation (pengajian online), wearing face mask, applying appropriate disinfection, and helping those heavily affected by the outbreak.Keywords: Covid-19, Dai, responses, and social media.
Emotional Intelligence is highly necessary aspect that covers students’ ability to use their emotion effectively in the learning process. Good Emotional Intelligence provides the students with appropriate ability which can help them take the best decision for their future. The lack of Emotional Intelligence often makes students feel stressed and depressed. It leads the students to destructive behaviors such as uncontrolable anger, lack of decision-making ability, and despair. Therefore, the students need to be trained to recognize, control, and develop their Emotional Intelligence in a positive way. This research is a library research, which is done by searching, reading, studying, and analyzing the content of related books and various supporting literature. Based on the research, it is concluded that school plays an important role to provide a professional counselor who can help the students improve their Emotional Intellligence effectively. The counselor is expected to have various approaches in developing student Emotional Intellegence, one of which is Humanistic and Existential Approach. This approach covers essential concepts the students have as human beings, such as what they are meant to be and what potentials they have. Through this approach, a school counselor can help students understand more about managing and controlling emotion in a positive way.
