Recently media that is used on mathematic study is just board and printed book. Usually teacher uses, modelling tool to visualize study objects like geometry, but students must be in alternatively to fulfill that demand requires application which can deliver 3-dimension geometry to emphasize students understanding of volume and surface area. This research will implement based tracking marker method on textbook and develop geometry study application based on augmented reality, it is called "Magic Boosed". The existence of AR combination technology, then geometry which will be taught by teacher to elementary school student will be more interesting and make students are easier to learn shape and geometry formulas, this is evident from data analysis test on student learning improvement using kolmogorov-smirnov testing.
The inability of students to absorb the knowledge conveyed by the teacher is'nt caused by the inability of understanding and by the teacher which isn't able to teach too, but because of the mismatch of learning styles between students and teachers, so that students feel uncomfortable in learning to a particular teacher. It also happens in senior high school (SHS/SMAN) 1 Anggana, so it is necessary to do this research, to analyze cluster (group) of student learning style by applying data mining method that is k-Means and Fuzzy C-Means. The purpose was to know the effectiveness of this learning style cluster on the development of absorptive power and improving student achievement. The method used to cluster the learning style with data mining process starts from the data cleaning stage, data selection, data transformation, data mining, pattern evolution, and knowledge development.
Along with today's technological developments, applications can be used as a medium of learning. This study aims to create a learning application about the solar system by utilizing technology Augmented Reality which is expected to be used to support the Natural Science (IPA) learning program by an elementary school educational institution to make the teaching and learning system more creative and interactive. In this study, the method augmented reality used is Image Based Tracking, which uses images as markers. The tools that help in the making of this AR are the Vuforia SDK which is used as a storage area marker. By doing this research, the results obtained in the form of the Solar System Learning application Augmented Reality that runs on the platform Android and testing respondents using the method User Acceptance Testing (UAT)with a value of 73.5%.
The research entitled Educational Game (Edugame) "Etam-tainment" is a research development of Puzzle Game type, designed to hone memory in the form of language. In this game, players must arrange letters in random and create a word in Kutai language. Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology will also be applied to this research. Using the Finite State Machine model method, this game will have game agent character that will accompany a child to play like a teacher. Game agent in the form of virtual teacher can give a sad and happy expression accordingly from the game environment. The results of this study make this edugame become more interesting and interactive to children. Game agent AI will accompany child in this game is like teacher. Intisari-Makalah ini membahas tentang sebuah penelitian membangun Edugame "Etam-tainment", yang merupakan penelitian pengembangan permainan berjenis Puzzle Game yang dirancang untuk mengasah daya ingat dalam berbahasa. Pada permainan ini, pemain harus menyusun huruf yang diacak sehingga membuat sebuah kata dalam bahasa Kutai. Algoritme pengacakan shuffle random diterapkan dalam penelitian ini dengan tujuan membuat susunan posisi huruf selalu teracak dan permainan menjadi tidak monoton dan membosankan. Teknologi kecerdasan buatan (artificial intelligence/AI) juga diterapkan pada penelitian ini. Menggunakan metode model Finite State Machine, permainan yang dibangun memiliki karakter game agent yang akan mendampingi anak bermain layaknya guru.
