O artigo expõe argumentos convenientes ao emprego de produtos da cultura pop em sala de aula, considerando seu potencial lúdico ao processo pedagógico, principalmente na disciplina de História. Nesse sentido, o pensamento de Umberto Eco (1990) sobre Cultura de Massa e as reflexões de Waldomiro Vergueiro (2014) sobre o uso dos quadrinhos no ambiente escolar, possibilitaram a criação de uma base teórica para o desenvolvimento de projetos que relacionem temas transversais, como a defesa dos direitos humanos, com o universo dos quadrinhos de super-heróis.Palavras-Chave: Cultura Pop, Cultura de Massa, Quadrinhos.Abstract:The article presents convenient arguments to the use of pop culture products in the classroom, considering its ludic potential to the pedagogical process, especially in the discipline of history. In this sense, the thoughts of Umberto Eco (1990) on mass culture and the reflections of Waldomiro Vergueiro (2014) on the use of comic books in the school environment enabled the creation of a theoretical basis for the development of projects that relate transversal themes, such as the defence of human rights, with the universe of superhero comic books.Keywords: Pop Culture, Mass Culture, Comic books.
O presente artigo aborda a Teoria das Representações Sociais, estabelecida por Serge Moscovici, a partir de uma perspectiva interdisciplinar, buscando critérios para o uso dessa teoria em pesquisas históricas, através do diálogo entre a obra de Moscovici com importantes linhas teóricas da historiografia. Busca-se também uma forma de aproximar os conceitos de Representação Social e Ideologia, pois tal aproximação permite identificar as relações de poder existentes na criação e na disseminação das representações. Para evidenciar o modo como as representações sociais podem transmitir ideologias é analisado o papel da mídia e o modo como esta exerce pressão sobre a dinâmica das representações predominantes no chamado senso comum.
Partindo da constatação de que as histórias em quadrinhos de super-heróis são consideradas por muitos autores como verdadeiras mitologias modernas, o presente artigo pretende estabelecer a relação entre o modo de operar do pensamento mítico com a criação dessas narrativas, analisando as reflexões de autores em histórias em quadrinhos, sobre seu próprio ofício, a partir do conceito de bricolagem de Lévi-Strauss.
