Nesse registro assumimos a concepção atual de inclusão. Independentemente dos conceitos para a palavra inclusão, todos os usos produzem verdades e circulam no nosso cotidiano. Apresentamos inicialmente as alterações legislativas ocorridas no ano de 2005 que determinaram a inserção da disciplina de Língua Brasileira de Sinais (Libras) nos currículos dos cursos de formação de professores de todo o Brasil. Nesse sentido, o presente artigo relata a experiência do Playlibras, um projeto desenvolvido pelos alunos da disciplina de Projeto de Extensão e Comunicação Comunitária do Curso de Publicidade e Propaganda da Universidade Franciscana de Santa Maria (UFN), a partir da demanda suscitada pela Professora da disciplina de Libras da instituição, em razão da escassez de materiais na área. O artigo situa-se na interface da educomunicação, no ensino de Libras para ouvintes e apoia-se na perspectiva da pesquisa exploratória.
Partindo do pressuposto de que a vida social está em constante transformação, compreender o direito à educação a partir de alguns documentos e leis que oferecem representações, normatividades e fomentam ações em prol de sua aplicação, mostrou-se como um fecundo espaço para discussões, permeado por desafios educacionais que se perpetuam na contemporaneidade. O presente artigo revisita documentos legais como a Constituição Federal (1988), a Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional (9.394/96), o Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente (8.069/90) e a Política Nacional de Educação Especial na Perspectiva da Educação Inclusiva (2008), objetivando uma reflexão sobre a garantia legal de acesso e permanência do aluno incluído na escola comum a partir das condições para a aprendizagem efetiva. Dessa forma, realizou-se a análise de uma jurisprudência do Tribunal de Justiça do Rio Grande do Sul (TJRS) que versa sobre um estudante com síndrome de Down que requereu, por via judicial, o acompanhamento de monitor educacional especializado. O diálogo construído no estudo, apresenta-se como um fértil horizonte com novas possibilidades de interpretar e reler os mais diversos temas que envolvem a educação e podem ser ajustados, nas suas aplicações, a situações reais no contexto escolar.
O mundo contemporâneo evidencia grandes transformações no âmbito educacional. A articulação entre teoria e prática ganhou preponderância na onipresença das tecnologias digitais e encontra na metodologia das oficinas pedagógicas um recurso favorável. Este artigo tem por objetivo caracterizar a oficina pedagógica como forma de construir conhecimento a partir da ação e da reflexão e relatar uma experiência de oficinas interdisciplinares com base nos gêneros discursivos e na linguagem como uma atividade social. A experiência foi propiciada a partir de um convite para ministrar uma oficina na I Semana Literária de uma escola da rede privada da cidade de Santa Maria-RS. Os profissionais ministrantes da oficina intitulada "Os gêneros discursivos em diferentes contextos", são de diferentes áreas, sendo elas Filosofia, Direito, Letras, Pedagogia e Jornalismo. Para a escrita do artigo, adota-se a metodologia da pesquisa bibliográfica com relatos de experiência da oficina pedagógica. Os gêneros discursivos são um profícuo campo interdisciplinar por onde podem transitar diferentes áreas do conhecimento, propiciando, através do funcionamento da língua, o desenvolvimento sociocultural dos sujeitos. Desse modo, a partir do planejamento de uma oficina baseada em alguns gêneros discursivos disponíveis na sociedade, verificou-se a importância de uma proposta interdisciplinar articulada entre as diferentes áreas do conhecimento como um recurso oportuno para desenvolver aprendizagens, por meio da produção textual.
