Cloud computing and cloud storage have contributed to a big shift in data processing and its use. Availability and accessibility of resources with the reduction of substantial work is one of the main reasons for the cloud revolution. With this cloud computing revolution, outsourcing applications are in great demand. The client uses the service by uploading their data to the cloud and finally gets the result by processing it. It benefits users greatly, but it also exposes sensitive data to third-party service providers. In the healthcare industry, patient health records are digital records of a patient’s medical history kept by hospitals or health care providers. Patient health records are stored in data centers for storage and processing. Before doing computations on data, traditional encryption techniques decrypt the data in their original form. As a result, sensitive medical information is lost. Homomorphic encryption can protect sensitive information by allowing data to be processed in an encrypted form such that only encrypted data is accessible to service providers. In this paper, an attempt is made to present a systematic review of homomorphic cryptosystems with its categorization and evolution over time. In addition, this paper also includes a review of homomorphic cryptosystem contributions in healthcare.
The Automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) is a mass reconnaissance strategy that uses optical character recognition on pictures to peruse the tags on vehicles. They can use existing shut circuit TV or street standard enforcement cameras, or ones particularly designed for the errand. They are used by different police forces and as a technique for electronic toll collection on pay-per-use streets and monitoring movement action, for example, red light adherence in an intersection. ANPR can be used to store the pictures caught by the cameras and in addition the content from the tag with some configurable to store a photo of the driver. Systems ordinarily use infrared lighting to permit the camera to take the photo whenever of the day. A capable blaze is included in no less than one form of the intersection monitoring cameras, serving both to illuminate the photo and to make the offender mindful of his or her slip-up. ANPR innovation tends to be district particular, owing to plate variety from spot to put. A different recognition strategies have been produced and number plate recognition systems are today used in different movement and security applications, for example, parking, access and border control, or tracking of stolen autos. Till now, all the LPR systems have been created using neural networks. This work proposes to execute the system using Gabor filter, OCR and Vision Assistant to make the system quicker and more proficient.
The number plate reorganization is the system which will recognize the characters from number plates. The techniques of neural networks are applied in the previous techniques to recognize characters from the number plate. In this work, technique will be reviewed which will recognize number plates from a distance and also distorted number plates. The reviewed techniques will be based on morphological, spilt and merge segmentation. In this work, it is analyzed that these techniques perform well in terms of false positive rate.
The digital world is changing at a fast pace. These days, web services are becoming the basis of many e-business systems & web users are increasingly sharing their personal information with web service providers. These services are being considered as a promising new generation technology for the effective automated collaboration among heterogeneous autonomous service providers. The utmost requirement in web services paradigm is striking a balance between protecting personal data and maximising usability& timely access to the data whenever needed. A large community of web users daily use social networks like Facebook, Orkut, Twitter and Flickr. In such systems, automated software agents collaborate to carry out the tasks specified by the user and access is to be controlled in the ongoing manner dynamically. The access rights of the service users may have to be revoked in between the access process or granularity of access can be changed during the course of access depending upon the automated agent's behaviour. This paper is intended to address the problem of enforcing privacy policies along with traditional access control policies in an integrated way in order to prevent malicious users to violate the privacy rights of the data providers. Also the role of trustworthiness of the data requestoridentity in controlling the access is incorporated in our model.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
