Este trabalho tem objetivo realizar a comparação entre o método de visioplasticidade e o método de elementos finitos para determinação das deformações aplicadas no processo de Estampagem Incremental. Neste trabalho foram realizados quatro experimentos de Estampagem Incremental em chapas de latão C268 com espessura inicial 0,81 mm. Os corpos de prova foram conformados em diferentes profundidades, a fim de se obter peças com diferentes níveis de deformação. Após a conformação as deformações foram medidas pelo método da visioplasticidade a partir de uma grade de círculos de 1 mm de diâmetro, gravada nas chapas por processo a laser. Em seguida foi realizada análise de elementos finitos a fim de avaliar as deformações nas chapas para as mesmas condições utilizadas nos experimentos. As chapas foram ainda cortadas ao meio para realização de medição direta de espessura com micrômetro. Os resultados das medições de visioplasticidade foram então comparadas com os resultados de elementos finitos e com os dados de espessura obtidos por medição direta nas chapas cortadas. Comparado com a medição direta, o método visioplasticidade apresentou erro percentual de 1,30 a 8,64%, enquanto que o método de elementos finitos apresentou erro percentual nas medições de 0,39 a 6,03 %.
