Actualmente se sabe que los estudiantes aprenden en diversos contextos y haciendo un amplio uso de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC) (Maina y García, 2016). En el presente trabajo nos proponemos identificar qué aplicaciones, plataformas web, redes sociales y tecnologías digitales utiliza un grupo de estudiantes de educación secundaria mediante un cuestionario autoadministrado. En primer lugar, haremos referencia al concepto de «ecologías de aprendizaje» y a su vinculación con el aprendizaje informal y las TIC. El apartado de «Material y métodos» recoge la caracterización de los participantes y una descripción detallada del instrumento utilizado. Desde un enfoque cualitativo, los resultados se organizan en cuatro categorías. A modo de discusión, planteamos la incidencia de las tecnologías en múltiples aspectos de la vida de los participantes.
Hace algunos años surgieron investigaciones orientadas al estudio de las emociones experimentadas en contextos académicos. En el presente trabajo nos focalizamos en identificar y describir las emociones académicas que experimentó un grupo de estudiantes de Educación Secundaria ante tareas de lectura propuestas en la asignatura Lengua y Literatura en el año 2018. Para la recolección de datos realizamos observaciones de las clases correspondientes a una secuencia didáctica, administramos un cuestionario que evalúa emociones ante las clases (AEQ) y entrevistamos a los estudiantes. Los resultados se organizan en tres ejes: descripción y análisis de las tareas propuestas en las clases observadas; perfil emocional de los estudiantes y expresiones de los mismos sobre sus emociones en relación con la secuencia. Para concluir, referimos a los objetivos alcanzados y a los aportes que realiza estudio y mencionamos, además, algunas futuras líneas de investigación.
