La investigación analiza el tratamiento informativo de la celebración del World Pride Madrid 2017 en los telediarios españoles de máxima audiencia, tanto del día 28 de junio, día oficial del Orgullo mundial, como del 1 de julio de 2017, fecha de celebración de la manifestación. El objetivo es hallar diferencias en el tratamiento entre la televisión pública y las cadenas privadas y entre el tipo de información mostrado en cada una de ellas, destacando el tiempo dedicado en cada informativo, el enfoque de las noticias, la evaluación realizada y las imágenes mostradas. El objeto de estudio es un total de diez informativos, dos por cada una de las cinco cadenas generalistas de máxima audiencia españolas. La metodología elegida es un análisis de contenido doble, por una parte cuantitativo, y por otra cualitativo, con los ítems seleccionados. Los resultados muestran una tendencia, con excepciones, a una visión equilibrada sobre el evento.
