Resumo-Redes de comutação óptica apresentam inúmeras vantagens em comparação às redes baseadas em comutação eletrônica como maior transparência, menor consumo de energia e menor custo total. Com a introdução dos ROADMs a comutação óptica dinâmica de comprimentos de onda passou a ser uma realidade, reduzindo significativamente os custos de operação e aumentando a agilidade na criação de caminhos ópticos na rede. Contudo, os ROADMs ainda apresentam diversas restrições, especialmente em relação às operações de inserção e remoção de canais. Atualmente a proposta mais comum para contornar essas limitações é a utilização de uma solução de plano de controle com algoritmos de RWA capazes de lidar com essas complexidades. Entretanto, adicionar estas restrições diretamente nos algoritmos de RWA é uma abordagem complexa e de baixa praticidade. Esse artigo propõe um novo método capaz de lidar com as restrições no nível do plano de controle independentemente do algoritmo de RWA adotado. O método é validado através de intensa simulação computacional realizada em diversos cenários de rede.
