Resumo. As funções de afilamento (de taper) são modelos utilizados para o cálculo de sortimentos florestais devidoà grande flexibilidade em estimar diâmetros em qualquer altura, alturas em qualquer diâmetro e volumes parciais, totais e comerciais do tronco deárvores. O ajuste destas funções de taper para multiprodutos significa obter uma boa aproximação ou melhora na estimativa de diâmetros, alturas e volumes do tronco deárvores. O objetivo deste trabalhoé o refinamento de três dos principais modelos de taper os quais são denominados modelo de Kozak Modificado, Demaerschalk Modificado e Ormerod Modificado.
