<p class="Normal1"><span>Materiais cimentícios de baixa densidade têm sido cada vez mais estudados visando a possibilidade de redução do peso das construções. Uma das formas de desenvolver esse tipo de material é através da utilização de agregados leves ou aditivos que, de forma direta ou indireta, permitem a incorporação de ar. Dessa forma, o presente estudo tem como objetivo verificar a influência da utilização da Hidroxipropilmetilcelulose (HMPC) nas propriedades do estado fresco e endurecido de argamassas leves à base de vermiculita. Para tanto realizou-se os ensaios de resistência à compressão e à tração na flexão, absorção de água por imersão, densidade de massa, módulo de elasticidade e perda de água por evaporação. Os resultados indicam que a incorporação da HPMC produz uma argamassa de menor densidade de massa, refletindo em um material mais leve. Em decorrência do maior índice de vazios gerado, há uma redução na resistência mecânica, no módulo de elasticidade e aumento na absorção e na perda de água. Assim, foi possível concluir que a introdução da HPMC em argamassas com vermiculita tem potencial de utilização a fim de reduzir a densidade do material e manter consistência adequada para aplicação.</span></p>
RESUMOAtualmente, há uma grande diversidade de alimentos disponíveis no mercado, sendo que seu consumo não é apenas para saciar a fome. Existem outras necessidades supridas com os alimentos, sendo as principais a manutenção da saúde e o bem-estar. Em meios aos múltiplos constituintes dos alimentos, a fibra dietética assume um papel de grande significância, em se tratando de benefícios a saúde. Segundo a RDC nº 360 de 2003, a ingestão diária recomendada de fibra alimentar é 25g. A fibra dietética é alvo de diversos estudos, devido às suas características que trazem inúmeras vantagens para a saúde humana e para as indústrias de alimentos. O presente trabalho utilizou-se do método enzimático-gravimétrico para a quantificação de fibras em alimentos vegetais. Adicionalmente, este trabalho objetiva acompanhar possíveis modificações desses componentes relacionadas à manutenção de enzimas em produtos que não foram submetidos ao branqueamento.Palavras Chave: Fibras, vegetais, quantificação, modificações. This work used the enzymatic -gravimetric method for the quantification of dietary fiber in plant foods. Furthermore, this work objective to follow possible changes of these components related to enzyme maintaining in products without thermal treatment (bleaching).
The objective of this study is to evaluate the perception of education professionals, before and after the application of theoretical and practical training based on active methodologies, on safety and prevention against fire and evacuation in disaster situations. The research method adopted is an action research, as it involves diagnosis, planning, action and evaluation to identify the perception of fire protection education professionals. The population consists of 29 education professionals and 75 students, aged between 4 and 5 years, from a private school in the city of Itabira-MG. The structured questionnaire technique is used for teachers and employees, applied before the project to measure the interviewees 'prior knowledge and after the project, to evaluate the effectiveness of the applied training, the teachers' perception of their and children's learning and the need for the topic to be an issue that the school community should constantly address as an important issue in the school calendar schedule. The results indicate that it is necessary to adopt safety training in schools and to keep this training constant. It is concluded that if teachers and school staff undergo regular training they will be able to act consciously, with students, in an emergency. That it is important to use scientific methods so that a broad and effective learning occurs and it is necessary to adopt the theme in the syllabus of schools.
Nos últimos tempos, as cidades têm apresentado crescimento acelerado que muitas vezes ocorre sem um planejamento adequado, resultando na ocupação inadequada do solo e provocando diversos problemas socioambientais, dentre eles as enchentes. Tecnologias têm sido desenvolvidas para minimizar tais impactos devido a impermeabilização do solo, como é o caso do pavimento permeável de concreto, que apresenta uma solução no auxílio dos sistemas de drenagem urbana. Torna-se necessário verificar a eficiência desse material baseado nos estudos sobre suas características físicas e nas suas condições de aplicação. No Brasil, embora já exista uma norma que especifique as características exigidas para a utilização desse pavimento, ainda não há um estudo aprofundado sobre a dosagem que permite que as peças de concreto cumpram as imposições. Diante disso, a seguinte proposta objetivou testar diferentes traços para confecção de um concreto permeável e verificar suas características quanto à resistência mecânica e à permeabilidade. Foram estabelecidas como variáveis de controle: 2 variações de granulometria de brita (a mistura entre os tamanhos 9,5mm e 19mm, e apenas a 19mm) e 3 variações de porcentagem de agregado miúdo (0%, 5% e 10%). Para realização do estudo foram confeccionados corpos de prova cilíndricos e prismáticos, que foram ensaiados conforme NBR’s específicas. A partir dos resultados obtidos constatou-se que o traço com melhor resistência mecânica foi o traço 1, moldado com a mistura entre as britas 0 e 1, apresentando apenas 5% do agregado miúdo calculado em sua composição; porém, mesmo obtendo os melhores resultados, o valor mínimo de resistência a compressão axial não foi atingido. Quanto a permeabilidade, todos os traços apresentaram bons resultados. Os traços 1 e 3 (ambos com areia na composição) se apresentaram como os mais adequados para utilização em passeios urbanos, pisos internos, praças, quadras poliesportivas descobertas, ciclovias e até mesmo estacionamentos de veículos leves devido a boa permeabilidade, mas ainda não foram considerados aptos para utilização em pavimentos liberados ao tráfego de veículos.

In recent decades, issues related to Social and Environmental Responsibility and sustainable growth in organizations have been constantly debated by society. This study aimed to identify the main social and environmental projects in a cosmetics industry, as well as to understand the perception of local residents and beneficiaries regarding the actions developed by the company. The relevance of the research lies in the fact that social and environmental responsibility is a matter of interest to various publics involved with organizations, whether employees, customers, suppliers, managers or local society. To carry out the study were conducted bibliographic searches in books and articles on the subject, as well as a case study in a cosmetics industry in the interior of Minas Gerais, with interviews with the manager of the company and the application of a questionnaire with residents of the city where the cosmetics industry is located. Through these researches it was possible to understand that the preservation of the institution's profit is directly related to the sustainability investments presented by the company. In addition, it was possible to understand the perception of the local community regarding the social and environmental projects implemented by the organization.
