Wege der postmodernen Wahrheitsfindung bei Jurij Trifonov
Deformationsmodell und NeoavantgardeIm Westen ist es seit längerer Zeit üblich, die sowjetische Literatur aus dem Gang der übrigen Literaturgeschichte zu entfernen und als historischen Rück-oder Sonderfall zu behandeln. Diese Art von Geschichtsschreibung möchte ich Deformationsmodell nennen, weil man die Literatur unter dem Aspekt ihrer Deformierung durch äußere (politische, soziale, ideologische) Einflüsse betrachtet. Demnach wird die Sowjetliteratur ab 1930 als gewaltige Abweichung von der Moderne verstanden, als nicht zu behebender Bruch mit der vertrauten Epochenentwicklung. Die sowjetische Literatur nach Lenin erscheint als laokoonartiges Gebilde, in dem die nach Autonomie strebende Literatur sich hilflos im Würgegriff der Parteidogmatik windet. Die Dynamik dieser ungleichen Beziehung begründet dann auch den historischen Sonderstatus der sowjetischen Literatur. Maßgebend ist nicht die Epoche, die Episteme, die ästhetische Raison, sondern die jeweilige Drehung des literaturpolitischen Schraubstocks. Die sowjetische Literaturgeschichte zerfällt in soziopolitisch begründete Abschnitte (Leninzeit, Stalinzeit, Tauwetter, Stagnationszeit, Perestrojka) oder löst sich in thematisch bestimmte Gattungen auf (Jugendprosa, Dorfprosa, Alltagsprosa, Kriegsprosa usw.). Dabei bevorzugt das Deformationsmodell zeitgeschichtliche oder sozialwissenschaftliche Termini, die den nicht-ästhetischen, pragmatischen Charakter der sowjetischen Literatur herausstellen und die Unvergleichbarkeit der sowjetischen mit der westlichen Entwicklung effektiv besiegeln. Auch K. Clarks vielbeachtete Neubestimmung des sozrealistischen Romans als Trivialliteratur hat wenig am Deformationsmodell geändert. Die Sowjetliteratur erscheint bei ihr als ritualisiertes, mythenspendendes Gebilde, dessen didaktischer und ideologischer Auftrag einen Vergleich mit der westlichen Literatur nicht zuläßt 1 . Besondere Aufmerksamkeit innerhalb des Deformationsmodells galt immer der poststalinistischen Literatur, mit der sich zunächst eine Wende anzubahnen schien. Zwar brach diese Literatur mit so mancher stalinistischen Schablone -ein für den damaligen Leser frappierendes Ereignis -, dafür blieb sie aber im Hinblick auf ihre ästhetischen Möglichkeiten weit hinter der Avantgarde der 10er und 20er Jahre zurück. Ob die Nachkriegsliteratur den sozialistischen Realismus überwunden hatte oder nicht, war anhand des gemischt sozio-ästhetischen Kriterienkatalogs des Deformationsmodells jedoch nie eindeutig zu entscheiden 2 . Und so wartete man ungeduldig auf die Zerschlagung des
