A internet das coisas está cada vez mais conectando aparelhos a internet com objetivo de aumentar o conforto. Junto com a IoT, a automação está cada vez mais difundida, o que acaba abaixando o custo das tecnologias e facilitando o seu desenvolvimento. Esta pesquisa busca desenvolver uma micro estação meteorológica de baixo custo e com um bom desempenho, que seja capaz de funcionar através de energia solar, trazendo comodidade e eficiência. Por se tratar de uma pesquisa aplicada e quali-quantitativa, o projeto busca com o auxílio do NodeMCU junto com sensores como DHT22, BMP180, anemômetro, sensor de chuva e UV captar dados da temperatura, umidade relativa do ar, pressão atmosférica, velocidade do vento e índice UV, armazenar esses dados em um banco de dados e depois interpreta-los com o auxilio de informações que foram fornecidos por uma estação profissional do INMET, já que ao realizar a comparação entre os dois dados é possível calcular possíveis erros encontrados e analisar o desempenho da estação, trazendo uma maior credibilidade para a eficiência dos sensores utilizados. No final, os dados capturados pela estação serão disponibilizados para o usuário através de um site, onde estarão disponíveis através de gráficos as últimas informações obtidas ou em tabela para dados completos de um período especifico, caso esteja perto da estação, ainda é possível visualizar algumas informações em um pequeno LCD presente no sistema. Embora o protótipo não apresente uma eficiência energética perfeita, ainda é capaz de se manter ligado por um período e seus sensores conseguem ajudar e fornecer informações coerentes para pequenos produtores que buscam uma alternativa as grandes estações meteorológicas.
