absTracT. A new species, Diodonopsis ramiromedinae, is described, illustrated, and compared with similar species. A brief history of Masdevallia sect. Pygmaeae and the genus Diodonopsis is provided. Diodonopsis ramiromedinae is most similar to D. anachaeta, but differs by sepals with apices acute or acuminate-triangular vs. narrowly caudate; longer petals with a descending, narrowly linear, rounded basal process vs. with an acute, retrorse basal process; and the larger lip, obovate with the apex very broadly rounded vs. oblong-subpandurate with the apex acute.
A new species of the orchid genus Telipogon, Telipogon
diabolicus, is described and illustrated. The information about its habitat is provided. The novelty resembles Telipogon
tabanensis and Telipogon
guacamayensis and it is characterized by the translucent flowers, the glabrous, distinctly clawed petals, the transversely elliptic lip, and the gynostemium ornamented with long setose hairs on both sides and shorter hairs at the apex.
Abstract.A new species of Stellilabium Schltr. is described and illustrated based on material collected in Colombia. The new species is most similar to S. morganiae Dodson, but differs from it in flower morphology. The gynostemium appendages of the new entity are ovate and widely spreading; in S. morganiae they are relatively small, not spreading, and oblong-ovate, and do not exceed the lip basal part in width.
A new species of Sertifera is described and illustrated based on Colombian material. The novelty resembles Sertifera colombiana, but it is characterized by glandular leaf sheaths, larger, white flowers, ovate to oblong-ovate sepals, ligulatelanceolate petals and apically triangular lip. This is the first report of a white-flowered representative of the genus.
