The K a and Kfl XRF cross-sections were measured for Sc, Cr, Fe, Ni, Ga, Sr, Nb, Rh, Pd and Te at eight excitation energies ranging from 8 to 47 keV using energy-dispersive XRF. The Ka and Kfl cross-sections for all the elements were in general agreement with the theoretical values calculated using photoionization cross-sections based on HartreeSlater potentials and Kfi/Ka intensity ratios based on Hartree-Fock theory.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
