Gold-catalyzed 1,2-iminonitronation of propiolate derivatives with nitrosoarenes to give α-imidoyl nitrones is described; this new reaction is applicable to diverse propiolate derivatives and nitrosoarenes.
S-, and N-Substituted 4-Methylquinoline Derivatives. -A catalyzed aerobic oxidation of N-hydroxyaminoallenes in the presence of a range of O-, N-, and S-nucleophiles to afford 3-substituted-2-en-1-ones is reported. Combined with a PPA-mediated cyclization the synthesis of O-, N-, and S-substituted 4-methylquinolines is possible. -(SHARMA, P.; LIU*, R.-S.; Chem. -Eur. J. 21 (2015) 12, 4590-4594, http://dx.doi.org/10.1002/chem.201406317 ; Dep. Chem., Natl. Tsing Hua Univ., Hsinchu 30013, Taiwan; Eng.) -Mais 32-169
Gold-Catalyzed -Furanylations of Quinoline N-Oxides with Alkenyldiazo Carbonyl Species. -A new gold-catalyzed heteroarylation of 8-alkylquinoline N-oxides with alkenyldiazo carbonyl compounds is described. The reaction seems to be limited to 8-alkylquinoline N-oxides and can not be applied to 2-arylpyridine N-oxides for instance (not shown). -(PAGAR, V. V.; LIU*, R.-S.; Org. Biomol. Chem. 13 (2015) 22, 6166-6169, http://dx.
A gold‐catalyzed 1,2‐iminonitronation of propiolate derivatives with nitrosoarenes is reported to give α‐imidoyl nitrones (III) and (VI) in good yields.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
