Obesitas merupakan salah satu penyebab terjadinya penyakit kardiovaskular yang merupakan faktor risiko utama timbulnya kematian global di dunia. Salah satu pekerjaan yang paling berisiko mengalami obesitas adalah pegawai negeri sipil (PNS) dikarenakan umumnya PNS memiliki pola kerja sedentary. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat faktor dominan kejadian obesitas pada pegawai negeri sipil Unit Sekretariat Jenderal Kementerian Agama Pusat. Penelitian ini menggunakan design cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini sebesar 394 orang dengan jumlah sampel 100 PNS. Data yang didapat merupakan data primer yang terdiri dari aktifitas fisik, tingkat stress, karakteristik responden (usia, jenis kelamin, berat badan dan tinggi badan), riwayat genetik dan durasi tidur yang diperoleh berdasarkan pengisian kuesioner. Selain itu, juga terdapat data asupan makan menggunakan metode recall 2x24 jam. Metode yang digunakan survey analitik dan analisis multivariat uji regresi logitik ganda. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan bahwa aktifitas fisik, durasi tidur dan asupan kabohidrat memiliki hubungan yang signifikan pada kejadian obesitas. Faktor aktifitas fisik menjadi faktor dominan yang berhubungan dengan kejadian obesitas pada PNS (p= 0,05). Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa upaya yang efektif untuk menurunkan risiko terjadinya obesitas pada responden adalah melakukan aktifitas fisik secara rutin sehingga dibutuhkan keterlibatan Kementerian Agama untuk melakukan upaya peningkatan aktifitas fisik pada pegawai.
Latar belakang: Anemia masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat dunia dengan sasaran tertinggi adalah remaja putri dan wanita usia subur (WUS). Anemia juga menjadi kejadian paling sering dialami oleh remaja putri dikarenakan remaja putri mengalami menstruasi setiap bulannya. Anemia mengakibatkan terganggunya kualitas produktivitas pada remaja putri. Sehingga diperlukan suatu perilaku pencegahan anemia yaitu perilaku konsumsi tablet tambah darah (TTD) serta pola makan gizi seimbang. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran perilaku mahasiswi kesehatan masyarakat dalam mengkonsumsi TTD dan pola makan gizi seimbang Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Informan ditentukan secara purposive sampling, dengan karakteristik informan utama adalah mahasiswi kesehatan masyarakat Stikes Raflesia, dan informan kunci yaitu teman sebaya serta dosen yang mengajar di Stikes Raflesia. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara FGD (Focus Group Discussion), Wawancara Mendalam dan Observasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, untuk uji validitas data dilakukan dengan menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil: Faktor predisposisi yang selaras dengan rendahnya perilaku (mengkonsumsi TTD dan pola makan) informan dalam mencegah anemia saat menstruasi yaitu rendahnya pengetahuan informan terkait penyebab dan dampak anemia, tidak adanya dukungan baik dari keluarga maupun teman sebaya menjadi penyebab kurangnya upaya pencegahan pada informan. Kesimpulan: Masih rendahnya perilaku konsumsi TTD dan pola seimbang pada mahasiswa sebagai upaya pencegahan terjadinya anemia
Pendahuluan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara status gizi dan indeks prestasi mahasiswa STIKes Raflesia Depok. Prestasi akademik pada mahasiswa dipengaruhi oleh faktor yang bersumber dari internal dan eksternal setiap individu. Salah satu faktor internal yang mempengaruhi adalah status gizi. Gizi yang baik sangat penting untuk perkembangan mental, produktivitas serta prestasi akademik. Namun, peranan masing-masing faktor penentu tidak selalu sama dan tetap. Metode: Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel 140 orang mahasiswa. Pengambilan data primer dilakukan dengan pengukuran berat badan dan tinggi badan, dan pengisian kuesioner secara mandiri (self-administering questionnaire) sesuai pedoman pengisian kuesioner. Kuesioner 2x24-hour of food recall digunakan untuk mengetahui asupan gizi mahasiswa. Data sekunder didapatkan berupa indeks prestasi mahasiswa. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi Square dan regresi logistik. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara status gizi dengan indeks prestasi mahasiswa. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat faktor lain yang lebih kuat sebagai penentu kesuksesan indeks prestasi mahasiswa. Kesimpulan: Asupan Fe memiliki hubungan secara signifikan dengan indeks prestasi mahasiswa D3 Keperawatan STIKes Raflesia Depok.
Anaemia was still a global public health problem with the highest targets being young women and women of childbearing age. Based on data from the Global Nutrition Report, around 33% of female adolescent are detected with anaemia. Lack of knowledge related to anemia is one of the causes of anemia in adolescent. This research was conducted to see effect education on increasing knowledge and attitudes the female student of Puspita Medika Depok towards preventing anemia during menstruation. The research used in this study pre experimental with one group pre post design approach. The sampling technique in this study was total sampling. The number of samples in this study were 46 students. The result in this study were that were was increase in students knowledge after being given an intervention, but not in a change in attitude. There was an effect of increasing knowledge before and after the educational intervention was given, but the was no significant change in student’s attitudes when the intervention was given. However, the average attitude value was good, because it is in the middle of the two extreme point.
