This study aims to describe the application of six basic literacy in children at TBM Balai Baca Rumah Bako. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, where the data is obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The application of six basic literacy in children carried out by TBM Balai Baca Rumah Bako, namely: (a) the implementation of reading and writing literacy in children is carried out through lapiak baco activities, storytelling, reading aloud and writing poetry and short stories; (b) the application of scientific literacy to children is applied through tutoring activities in mathematics as well as providing an understanding of arithmetic operations in daily life; (c) scientific literacy in children is carried out through parak bako and small camp activities; (d) the application of digital literacy to children is carried out through training on the use of computers and watching movies together; (e) financial literacy in children is carried out through parak bako and batuang (babuek for kampuang) activities; (f) cultural literacy and citizenship in children is carried out through the formation of Minangkabau art studios and routinely commemorating Indonesia's independence day. The application of six basic literacy in children carried out by the TBM Balai Baca Rumah Bako is not optimal, because only literacy and cultural literacy activities are routinely carried out and have a direct impact on children.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan enam literasi dasar pada anak di TBM Balai Baca Rumah Bako. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif, dimana data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penerapan enam literasi dasar pada anak yang dilakukan TBM Balai Baca Rumah Bako yaitu : (a) penerapan literasi baca-tulis pada anak dilakukan melalui kegiatan lapiak baco, mendongeng, membaca nyaring dan kegiatan menulis puisi dan cerita pendek; (b) penerapan literasi sains pada anak diterapkan melalui kegiatan bimbingan belajar matematika serta memberikan pemahaman operasi aritmatika dalam kehidupan sehari-hari; (c) literasi sains pada anak dilakukan melalui kegiatan parak bako dan camp cilik; (d) penerapan literasi digital pada anak dilakukan melalui kegiatan pelatihan penggunaan komputer dan nonton bareng; (e) literasi finansial pada anak dilakukan melaui kegiatan parak bako dan batuang (babuek untuak kampuang); (f) literasi budaya dan kewargaan pada anak dilakukan melalui kegiatan pembentukan sanggar kesenian Minangkabau serta rutin memperingati hari kemerdekaan Indonesia.
