This research aims to examine the validity and reliability of mental health scale in the workplace by using the Rasch model approach as well as compare the results of analysis with classical test theory approach. The subject were 60 employees at the State Islamic University Malang. The analysis showed that the mental health scale in the workplace is declared valid and reliable either by using the approach of Rasch model and classical test theory. This means that both approaches are able to find the same results on the test of mental health scale in the workplace.
Changing the learning system during the pandemic period from offline to online requires teachers' readiness, including elementary school teachers. Demands for mastery of technology in learning and the characteristics of elementary school students who need direct guidance in learning are teachers' problems. However, not all primary school teachers are ready for technology-based online learning. This study aims to investigate the readiness of primary school teachers in online learning in terms of three aspects, namely cognitive (knowledge and perception), affective (emotional condition), and moral (skills). The research method uses a mixed-method with data collection techniques using a questionnaire deepened by interviews. The research respondents were 22 elementary school teachers in Tlekung village, Junrejo district, Batu City. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis and qualitative analysis. The results showed that the teacher had a low readiness to carry out online learning in general. The level of primary school teachers' readiness to carry out online learning still needs to be improved, especially in the knowledge and skills factor by providing online learning training experiences.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji besarnya kontribusi pemaafan dan syukur terhadap kesehatan mental di tempat kerja. Partisipan penelitian diambil dari karyawan dan dosen Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang sebanyak 167 orang melalui teknik pengambilan sampel proposional. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu Skala pemaafan, skala syukur, dan Inventori Kesehatan Mental (MHI) (α=.888) yang telah dimodifikasi oleh penulis.Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai R=.462 p<.05 dengan koefisien determinan sebesar .213. Hal ini berarti pemaafan dan syukur mampu menjadi prediktor bagi tinggi rendahnya kesehatan mental sebesar 21.3 persen.
AbstrakKebahagiaan adalah salah satu aspek kajian sentral dalam bidang psikologi positif. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi pada tinggi rendahnya tingkat kebahagiaan. Salah satu faktor yang diduga berpengaruh adalah faktor spiritual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah hubungan antara pengalaman spiritual dengan tingkat kebahagiaan pada guru agama di Jawa Timur.Jenis pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional. Subjek penelitian diambil dari guru agama di tiga kabupaten yaitu kabupaten Trenggalek, Tulung Agung dan Pacitan sejumlah 247 orang. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan daily spiritual experience scale dan approach to happiness questionnaire. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis product moment.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman spiritual berhubungan dengan dan kebahagiaan. Saran yang disampaikan adalah upaya untuk pengembangan kebahagiaan dapat dilakukan sejalan dengan pengembangan pengalaman spiritual.Kata kunci : pengalaman spiritual, kebahagiaan
SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE AND HAPPINESS AMONG RELIGIOUS TEACHERS IN PRIMARY SCHOOL AbstractHappiness is one central aspect of the study in the field of positive psychology. Many factors influence the high and low levels of happiness. One factor thought to influence happiness is the spiritual factor. This study aims to find out relationship between spiritual experiences with a level of happiness in the religious teacher in East Java.Type of approach used in this study was correlation research. Research subjects drawn from 247 religious teachers in three districts namely Trenggalek district, Tulung Agung and Pacitan. Data were collected with a daily spiritual experience scale and approach to happiness questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using product moment analysis techniques.The results showed that the spiritual experiences associated with happiness. Advice given is an effort for the development of happiness can be done in line with the development of spiritual experience.
The current study investigates the reason for parents and children's paradoxical perceptions of online learning, determining factors, and the impact of these differences on their relationships. This research employs qualitative data collection and analysis approaches. Twenty-five parents and their children studying at an elementary school and participating in mentoring activities in Malang, Indonesia, were recruited based on the school principal's recommendation. The data were collected using in-depth interview techniques with parents and their children and observations during the counselling sessions and continuous mentoring sessions. The results show that parents and children perceived online learning paradoxically in three aspects: time, implementation process, and online learning media. Parents tend to perceive online learning negatively, while children perceive it positively. The difference in perception is caused by different expectations and attitudes towards online learning and the family's socioeconomic conditions during the Covid-19 pandemic. The differences in perceptions trigger parent-child conflicts indicated by poor communication, negative labelling, and physical violence. Three policy recommendations are proposed to address the issue during times of crisis, including the Covid-19 pandemic.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara kepercayaan diri dengan kemampuan menulis kreatif siswa. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 73 siswa Madrasah Aliiyah Negeri 2 Bogor. Metode pengumpulan data adalah skala kepercayaan diri, sementara metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan untuk variabel kemampuan menulis kreatif menggunakan tes menulis kreatif. Hasil analisis menunjukan adanya hubungan positif antara kepercayaan diri dengan kemampuan menulis kreatif, semakin tinggi tingkat kepercayaan diri maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat kemampuan menulis kreatif. Variabel kepercayaan diri mampu menjadi prediktor bagi tinggi rendahnya kemampuan menulis kreatif sebesar 6,1%.
