The electrochemical performance of a thick Ge film (ca. 1020 nm) is dramatically improved by adopting vertically aligned carbon nanotube (VACNT) arrays as a 3D current collector. The VACNT-supported thick Ge film exhibits high reversible specific capacity (1352 mAh g(-1) ), and excellent capacity retention (97.2% after 100 cycles) and rate capability (843 mAh g(-1) at 10 C).
Surface-engineered tape-casting (SETC) is a facile and scalable preparation method to fabricate freestanding, flexible and foldable MWCNT and MWCNT-composite sheets.
A hierarchical three dimensional carbon nanowire arrays on carbon cloth is developed as an efficient flexible nanostructure current collector for TiO 2 based anodes. This unique electrode exhibits not only ~300 times higher mass
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
