Organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) is necessary in overcoming emergency conditions, including learning difficulties such as experienced during and after the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, this research explored the visionary leadership effects of teachers’ OCB through quality of work-life (QWL) and organizational commitment, and developed a new empirical model of the mediation mechanism. A quantitative approach with a survey method was used in this research, where Likert-scale questionnaires were distributed to 387 social sciences teachers in Indonesia. Using structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis, it was found that visionary leadership, QWL, and organizational commitment have a significant effect on OCB; visionary leadership significantly influences QWL and organizational commitment; and visionary leadership has a significant effect on OCB through QWL and organizational commitment. This evidence promotes a new model regarding the effect of visionary leadership on teachers’ OCB mediated by QWL and organizational commitment. It not only confirms several previous studies as the basis for developing this research hypothesis, but is also an antithesis to previous research with contradictory conclusions. With such conditions, the new model provides theoretical and practical contributions which require in-depth and critical discussion before it is adopted or adapted as a model in improving teacher OCB via visionary leadership supported by QWL and organizational commitment.
This study aims to determine the biographical study of the figure of Mayor Daan Mogot in Tangerang. Daan Mogot's biographical study approach is veryinteresting to research, because he was a very important figure during theIndonesian independence revolution in the Tangerang area. The researchmethodology uses a qualitative approach by collecting data sources relevant tothe discussion. The results of research on the role and struggle of Major DaanMogot include starting his career as a Map Army, BKR, TKR-TRI and becomingthe director of the Tangerang Military Academy. Major Daan Mogot's struggleneeds to be a good example for today's young generation. Purpose of study: The research aims to determine the transformation of character education in expertise courses with al-Khairiyah's historical material as a source of character education in increasing understanding of local values. Methodology: The sampling technique uses purposive sampling and snowball, by conducting interviews, observation and documentation studies. In the process of working the data are analyzed using Miles and Huberman's models through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data display, and concluding the reality on the ground that is natural and actual in a comprehensive and intact manner described. Main Findings: The results obtained, namely STIT Al Khairiyah, established that the history of al-Khairiyah is a subject that must be taken by every student in the 1st and 2nd semester. Applications: One effort that must be made in that direction is to build character in all aspects of people's lives, especially through educational institutions. The history of Al-Khairiyah was designed in developing SAP and RPS in expertise courses by lecturers with approaches and models lectures based on local material. In transforming character education in skills courses at STIT al-Khairiyah Cilegon, students understand more about the character values contained in the history of al-khairiyah.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data atau informasi dan menganalisis secara mendalam tentang topi bambu Tangerang dlam kearifan lokal berbasis ekonomi kreatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Sejarah topi bambu Tangerang memiliki nilai historis yang cukup menarik untuk dikaji lebih mendalam. 2) Melestarikan kearifan topi bambu Tangerang diperlukan strategi kajian pengembangannya, guna menjaga nilai-nilai kelokalannya. 3) Kearifan lokal topi bambu berbasis ekonomi kreatif yang dikembangkan oleh komunitas topi bambu Tangerang dengan berbagai kreatifitas dan inovasi produknya dengan perkembangan fashion di era globalisasi ini.
Historical learning is not just a factual information or introduction of concepts to be used as student knowledge. Historical learning seeks to develop students' critical and logical thinking skills about the various social phenomena so proficient in life in society. Learning of history based on local culture is expected to generate local potential that during this marginalized and teralinasi from public attention. The description of education that can be explained by researchers in the Lebak region, especially in the location of the research study has not touched and introduces its local culture specifically, either in special historical learning or in mulok learning. The goal to be achieved is to provide knowledge to learners to know about the local culture in the region. This is because the school is an institution that was formed to provide educational process that is not possible given in the family or community, thus through the history of learning in school is expected to learners in addition to knowing also through cultural history-based learning historically also aims to prepare learners so they have values localization inherited from their predecessors in the area. Approach of history material based on local culture is considered important to be taught in order to motivate learners in SMAN 1 Rangkasbitung.
